That's the knock against him, he never developed any notable fighters from scratch as far as I can tell.

Kevin Rooney at least produced Omar Sheika.

When's the last time he's been relevant? Like Nacho Beristain is more relevant & he was last relevant during Marquez KO-ing Pacquiao !

        The people I know:

        Wilfred Benitez
        Joey Gamache
        Mike Tyson
        Shannon Briggs
        Simon Brown
        Michael Moorer
        Barry Mcguigan
        Tracy Patterson
        Michael Grant

        and later he worked with
        Alexander Povetkin
        Timothy Bradley

        and currently Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

Of course he didn't work with all these fighters their entire careers, but these caliber of fighters don't go to trainers if they don't see how he could help them.

Teddy is too concerned with himself. So much so that it distracts (and even upsets) his fighters. Michael Moorer went toe to toe with Foreman because he was trying to show that he didn't need Teddy as Teddy was getting all the positive praise. Look where that got him.
