It really needs to be a marriage
They need to go hand in hand
He has the skills and the experience the only thing is his side show
If the fighter can swallow that then it’s a marriage made in heaven
But if a fighter refuses to be pushed and insulted then they will just butt heads , no damn good
It’s not for a lack of training skills that many avoid him like a plague

I think he's a good trainer. He seems like a guy that's all in with his fighter. Old school type of mentality as well which a lot of fighters nowadays couldn't deal with since everyone is so darn sensitive and doesn't like to be told what to do.

        Such sage advice as:

        Teddy telling Bradley he's a fireman.....that'll help.

Teddy tells Moorer he will cry, on camera, what a guy, then takes his stool.

Teddy tells Pov he's going to bring Pov's dad back to life, Pov laughs in his face.

Teddy did not shake any of these guys up before they appeared to be falling behind. None of them increased their pace. In every case the opponent tired themselves out and the man with the steady pace started and ended the fight strong, winning by KO

Emanuel Steward was a real trainer. Not just an ******* in the corner saying the obvious and getting credit for being apart of the better boxer's team. Anyone can tell Pov he's falling behind....Teddy didn't say **** before Pov started to fall behind, didn't to Moorer or Bradley either, but as the middle rounds picked up Teddy lost his **** because his man was obviously falling behind and if the opponent keeps up while his man does not increase the opponent will win.....what a trainer.

Inversely, Manny gave Lennox massive **** despite being ahead, no where near any trouble, nothing to signify any problem at all Manny *****es to Lennox to KO Mike before Mike KOs him. Slaps the champ and all Why? Because Manny knew the stretch is where Tyson might have success and took that away from Tyson before Tyson got a chance.

Emanuel Steward used to ***** at Wlad so bad it'd get Wlad pissed off, but Wlad listened and didn't get KTFO again until Manny was well in the grave.

That's a ****ing trainer. That's a man with vision and understanding, that's a man whose advice you listen to and just yes'sir I can and will.

Teddy Atlas is like a Freddy Roach. If you like hanging out with him cool. He's not going to do **** for you though. Tell you some stories and ****.
        Really?

I agree what you’re saying about Manny, the greatest trainer ever IMO.

But Teddy has definitely been good for guys, done a great job with Moorer. I thought he managed to extend Tim Bradley’s career, and I also think he improved Gvodzyk who unfortunately just ran into a wrecking ball named Beterbiev. I’d also argue Povetkin looked better with Atlas than he did without him.

He’s proven himself as a good trainer IMO.

Not a top trainer nor was he ever IMO. Very good tactician and motivator but probably a little too self serving snd boisterous for alot of fighters to deal with

Hes the type of man that’s easily drawn into an argument
Doesn’t take anything away from his training skills but at the same time doesn’t add much

If his predictions is anything to go by. Bum trainer. But I’m sure I’m underrating him in the position of a trainer.

                      Maybe.

But Moorer was a Kronk fighter first and foremost, that was where he learned his trade under Emmanuel Steward. Atlas didn't build him from scratch.
