And there were quite a few moments where Golovkin was outboxing him and countering him off the back foot, yet never touched the ropes. All I'm saying is is that the aggression was all that effective if Saul couldn't put him where he wanted and kept allowing GGG to keep turning towards the center of the ring. Like I said, I just watched the fight back again and haven't seen this narrative that people are pushing.
The reason you don't see the narrative is because it didn't
    exsit.

Wasn't actively scoring the fight this last time but each time I do score it, I at least give Golovkin 3 of the last 4, usually have him sweeping the last 4 so for me it's not hard to see the fight as a draw or 7-5 either way if you want to give Canelo every single close round. But it's far from the dominant performance some of these guys claim.
the guys who claim that are haters who have been waiting years for something to hang their hat on. They’re the same guys trying to tell us ggg was still in his prime in his mid 30s. They’re gonna be blowing their loads all over this forum when canelo finally wins in convincing fashion.

Affirmation bias is a real powerful driver, man, and that shit will literally change how you perceive stuff. Folk'll do almost anything to maintain a narrative once they've hooked their ego to it... in fact that's one reason I sometimes like to do this ****. I'm well aware that I'm just as prone to biases as any other person and it's little exercises like going through and actually noting down every bit of action you see from both sides that give you the best chance of approaching some kinda objectivity.

Doing that kinda thing will never change someone else's mind but it can help you keep yourself grounded and more confident in your own opinion if you approach it with an open mind.

That aint what I saw. I saw GGG looking out of control, caught by surprise, being bullied and beat up the majority of the fight. I didnt see him turning anyone, I just saw him trying to cope with what was happening. Props to Nelo for bullying the bully!
