You may be right and that's best case scenario. I mean who is there outside of PBC for Bud to fight that would be a relevant opponent?

It’s not so much the single fighters but the matchup. Ala Golovkin-Canelo. While fanbois were crying that it wasn’t worth it, Golovkin doesn’t bring enough numbers, look at his past PPV’s etc. I was certain it would hit atleast a mil. All you need to take into account is the hype around a fighter and how far out into the public they are. Crawford is touted as top pfp’er(they will push him at pfp #1). Spence is the supposed best 147lb’er. Both have a following, both are well assocciated with names like Pacquiao, and Mayweather (in Spence’s case), Spence’s car crash has gotten him more light too etc etc.

Crawford is known. He got a lot of light from beating Horns ass. He just needs a known/hyped opponent.
Do you actually think Crawford and Spence are more well known worldwide than Fury and Wilder? Not a chance. Maybe in hardcore boxing circles but not with the general public and casual fans. Fury generates more interest in a fight simply from his background and personality than either Crawford or Spence.

what is crawford's highest ppv fight? against khan? or no? and that fight sold what, 150k? spence against mikey did around 350k or so? so again, going by those numbers, why are they asking for more than what they deserve?
They should get more than they ever made because this will be one of the most historic WW title fights (unifications) in the history of the sport! It's not May vs. Pac, or Leonard vs. Hearns, but it's much bigger than Spence vs. Garcia, or Crawford vs. Khan. If they were able to do it on one platform, it would be much easier!

Not after the promotion for the second fight. But prior to that for sure, How quick we forget how much of a nobody Wilder was not long ago. The proof is in the pudding. Spence-Porter did as much or more than Wilder-Fury II.

Seems like Bud is finally getting it!
I think the Porters made him finally get it.

He realised he didn't want to face a guy as tough as Porter for peannuts, and then realized that that is probably how the PBC guys feel about facing him for peanuts.

Idk man. But imo, I'd rather see Thurman vs Crawford than Brook vs Crawford or those 140 fighters

Terence Crawford: Errol Spence Fight Is All About The Money

“If it makes sense, then a fight can get made. There are no hurdles. It’s all about money at the end of the day. If there is enough money on the table, then a fight is going to get made. If there are two promotional companies coming together, we all gotta eat,” said Crawford. “Sometimes there isn’t enough money to break down for everybody." - Bud

I keep telling ya'll its bob who doesn't want to give up the bread that dude never wants to play fair at the table. PBC making sure Errol gets his shots at the other title, bring up his popularity to make SURE bob CAN'T say 50/50 split
