You mean, what Floyd had to do with Oscar?

        - Floyd accepted the lower money
        - Floyd accepted the gloves
        - Floyd accepted the weight
        - Floyd accepted the venue
        - Floyd accepted the judges
        - Floyd accepted the drug testing

All so he could be boxing's next star. Which he did.

Which is why I'm so critical of Crawford for not being willing to do the same thing for the same reason.

Wilder vs. Fury was a flop! And both of them are much more popular to the casuals than Spence and Crawford. One of these guys has to cross to the other platform for this to happen. I don't see either one wanting to do that, but if it has to be one, it has to be Crawford. TR has nothing for him! He should've known that a long time ago!

You left out one huge important thing. Floyd bought out his contract from Arum in order to fight De La Hoya! Bud, on the other hand, recently signed an extension with Arum.

im saying it doesnt have to be a HUGE fight where both fighter gets paid millions.. if they both really wanted to see who's the best then fight each other for a few mils like what they've been doing with the other opponents! why is it that they need lots of money to fight each other but when fighting against other opponents, they're fine with what they're getting! and both of them are not on the same level as manny/floyd in terms of popularity so they will never make huge money waiting it out like manny/floyd did.

Usually the A-side makes the most money. In this case you have 2 "A-sides" who would have to each take less money, to make it happen. Plus if 2 platforms are involved (FOX & ESPN) then that's even more complicated because there's more hands in the cookie jar! I don't think Wilder vs. Fury II did anything to help the situation!

That big fat snake Arum didn’t care about Pac, he wanted him to fight a “shot” Alvarado to boost the Crawford vs Horn fight, that’s when Pac decided to dump him. He knew Pac is old but still a very dangerous fighter, that’s why he wouldn’t let Crawford fight Pac, it would destroy all his plans for one of his best fighters.
