Oh you know, the way I get a text from boxing in the morning, the way boxing has dinner on the table for me, all of the fun times out with boxing, and how boxing sucks my cawk every night.Comment

That body size and physique can be overcome with skill and will. I really fell in love with boxing when I caught the end of an undercard for Mayweather vs Hatton, there was this indomitable looking dude fighting and had just won a lob sided decision. He looked absolutely shredded, I couldn't imagine how anybody could beat that. I youtubed the dude and saw he had 1 loss and this then led me to some skinny looking dude called Joe Calzaghe. I'd heard of this guy from the radio but for some reason never followed him. At the time I was just a very casual fan, only dipping into the mega fights. (being raised on bruno, tyson, holyfield, lewis, hamed etc). Of course the guy in question was Jeff Lacey but that fight perfectly encapsulates everything that boxing is for me. An underdog, winning every second of every round and flipping the script entirely.
When I watched the fight, I was absolutely transfixed. I couldn't believe this lanky looking guy was putting such a 1 sided beating on this superhero looking dude. From there, I researched all of Calzaghe's fights, then all of Mayweather's (after his beat down of Hatton) and so started my love of the sport. Been reading about it every day since and watching it almost every weekend.Last edited by Articulateboxin; 03-11-2020, 01:42 AM.Comment

spinks was a light heavyweight , Holmes was 44 , Berbick never had a win against a prime top 10 heavyweight , Briggs was soundly beaten by Lennox Lewis and easier and went life and death with ruddock who again was destroyed by Lewis when facing him.
I like Tyson as a fighter and character but his record when broken down is very weak except for the age he did it.
Tyson lost to every prime P4P heavyweight he went up against that’s the factsComment
