Tyson at 29-30yrs old would be referred to as 10yrs past his first title win.
Mike improved for five years as a pro than declined for fifteen years. Mikes fault he didn’t fight evander earlier. He wanted more time than he got before he fought Lennox. So how would someone reference that if he got more time? A best possible mike or would everyone just say he was even older? Lots of ways to slice it.
Well, like I said, you can't ignore Tyson missing 4 years out of his prime years before fighting Holyfield & Lewis.

I wouldn't say it was his fault that he didn't fight Evander earlier. He signed to fight him & got injured, then he got locked up right afterwards.

Tyson became champion in an era of weak challengers , tubbs, williams,Biggs and Smith says it all.
Holmes was 39 , spinks was a light heavy and that’s two of his best wins.
Lewis and Holyfield are just better
Sugar Ray Leonard's a top 10 all-time fighter. I never said he was in SRL's class as a fighter. The fact that SRL could come back after years away is a part of what makes him an ATG by any measurable metric. Tyson's not that.

Tyson Fury was/is a confirmed cheater & PED user. He's facing an 8 year ban as we speak. And I like Tyson Fury as a personality and wish him well, but there's just too much smoke around him.

Holyfield is a PED cheat, who lost to light heavyweights and Lewis was KO'd by Mike's sparring partner.

They weren't better prime for prime.

They are greater pound for pound, as in more accomplished.

Tyson was koed by Lewis , and even Danny Williams lol....now don’t even mention sugar ray leonard because you don’t even have the knowledge to Even write his name...save that for me gumbo.
Lewis was better in terms of skill , resume and P4P ranking and that’s already been decided.tyson was in capable of adapting and was beaten by every HOF he ever faced when in there prime.
Any heavyweight can get caught and knocked out if caught properly that happened with louis, foreman ,Frazier and could easily have happened to Ali when he was dropped by cooper and Holmes against snipes and shavers both times Holmes was just as badly dropped as Lewis was against
Mcall....but the difference is Lewis came back to beat them easily.
Tyson lacked a desire and heart and was simply a bully who when was stood up to revert back to type by going for a DQ.

However, as I grew older and started boxing and understanding the sport - it dawned on me that the invincible Mike Tyson just looked great against cream puffs and he was not as great as advertised. Regardless, he'll always be my favourite boxer of all time because he made me fall in love with the sport.

              There, I said it.

What are you gonna do, bxtch?

You're giving Lennox credit for beating an Oliver McCall that Don King snatched out of rehab and forced to fight while he was having a nervous breakdown? Really?

That just shows me what type of moron you are.

Plus, even the jury that convicted Mike Tyson 10 years later admitted that they didn't think he was actually a rapist, get with the times, dummy.

And over and over again, you bring up a Tyson 15,20 years past his best getting KO'd by Danny Williams which to me says you in the words of the late, great Roger Mayweather "DKSAB".

I'm putting you on ignore because you're going personal, which says to me that you just have a personal animus towards the guy that has nothing to do with in ring ability

I was always around boxing (crazy Mexican family LOL) but it wasn't until the 24/7 episodes of Mayweather/De La Hoya that I really fell in love with it. Seeing all that sh.t talk and tension had me hooked

I like Tyson he just is not on Lennox Lewis level and that’s a fact as soon as you accept that we can move in....if not I’ll keep on closing you down like you deserve it.
Look Tyson was is a loose cannon, he was warned by teddy atlas with a gun about his behaviour , he bit boxers ears off , he took bites out of boxers legs to try and get out of fights , he near on broke bothas arm in a clinch....he got done for **** and to me he did it 100% ...the girl has not even surfaced again and just seems to want to get on with her life.
if you don’t like the truth son don’t ask the question or try and justify what he did....the point is if you can mention Lewis getting knocked out and ill them mention it about Tyson.
Tyson was never as good as Lewis and it’s proven
