AJ at 29-30yrs old is described as in his athletic prime.
Tyson at 29-30yrs old would be referred to as 10yrs past his first title win.
Mike improved for five years as a pro than declined for fifteen years. Mikes fault he didn’t fight evander earlier. He wanted more time than he got before he fought Lennox. So how would someone reference that if he got more time? A best possible mike or would everyone just say he was even older? Lots of ways to slice it.

Well, like I said, you can't ignore Tyson missing 4 years out of his prime years before fighting Holyfield & Lewis.

I wouldn't say it was his fault that he didn't fight Evander earlier. He signed to fight him & got injured, then he got locked up right afterwards.

sugar Ray Leonard had 1 fight in five years , had years of alcohol and ******* use and still came back to win more world titles , Tyson fury was out the ring for 3 years and ballooned to 380lbs and mental health issues do stop trying to blame Tyson being in prison and losing it , even before he went to prison he went life and death with razor ruddock 2 times and ruddock was then destroyed in 2 rounds by Lewis a year later.
Tyson became champion in an era of weak challengers , tubbs,williams,Biggs and Smith says it all.
Holmes was 39 , spinks was a light heavy and that’s two of his best wins.
Lewis and Holyfield are just better

To me, it was watching those Mike Tyson highlights as a kid. The guy was just too ferocious and powerful in knocking out grown men. He was the greatest show on earth. And I would mimic his style.

I remember hearing about him biting someone's ear off and I thought it must have been a lie. Not the invincible Iron Mike Tyson - the greatest show on earth. Then he got knocked out by Lennox Lewis.

However, as I grew older and started boxing and understanding the sport - it dawned on me that the invincible Mike Tyson just looked great against cream puffs and he was not as great as advertised. Regardless, he'll always be my favourite boxer of all time because he made me fall in love with the sport.

I like Tyson he just is not on Lennox Lewis level and that’s a fact as soon as you accept that we can move in....if not I’ll keep on closing you down like you deserve it.
Look Tyson was is a loose cannon, he was warned by teddy atlas with a gun about his behaviour , he bit boxers ears off , he took bites out of boxers legs to try and get out of fights , he near on broke bothas arm in a clinch....he got done for **** and to me he did it 100% ...the girl has not even surfaced again and just seems to want to get on with her life.
