This is nothing but projection. You’re describing yourself. I don’t judge fighters based on race but I will call out you clowns who do. Y’all think that if you don’t come out and directly say things referencing race that nobody can pick up on the racial bs. It’s hilarious.Bro all of your posts that you make on here are consumed by race lol. You just seem to rate fighters based on color and it's rather sad. Some friendly advice - it seems like it is eating you up a bit and it must be a tough way to live.
Was offering that question as a way to have some discourse and perhaps show you that there are a lot of great fighters from all backgrounds and colors.
Sometimes the white guy is a good fighter too man, and sometimes he wins lol...to put your self-worth on the line in every white/black/mexican debate just must be an exhausting way to live, on here and in general.
All-time Pernell is above Loma, right now...but Loma is doing some great stuff so far as well...as an aside, who is Pernell's official best win? You were getting on Loma for who he has beat, but who did Pernell really beat name-wise?
Most even ATGs make their names by having a lot of dominant wins vs good pros, and then they are about even in fights vs other greats in their relative primes, and they usually only have about 2 of those fights anyway.
I can speak on loma and why he doesn’t deserve to be hyped up as p4p #1 and already an atg with just 15 fights without mentioning race whatsoever and I have done that. I didn’t mention race until you(or some other insecure low self esteem having clown) started trolling with the over the top d-riding.
Everything discussed around here is based on stan wars and the stan wars are based on race and nationality. A lot of you people stan against the black fighters and y’all do it passive aggressively. I’m just not a coward scared to call it out.
Loma is being overhyped because he’s white and anybody who isn’t biased themselves can see it. This thread is an example because this comparison is a joke. If people here actually knew and understood boxing and who these fighters are, then the poll would 100% for pea. You know as much but because you’re a loma d-slurper you don’t call out the obvious. Till this day that Chavez draw is probably the most blatant robbery I’ve seen. I thought he got robbed against dlh as a past prime 33 year old who had just fought a few months earlier. That’s not even mentioning Nelson, 2 wins over McGirt, etc.
Loma has 15 fights and he’s already being anointed as an atg. That’s the point of this troll thread. To compare him to pea as if he’s on pea’s level. Dude’s best win is a 126lb Gary Russell jr 6 years ago.Comment

This response from you is kind of my point man lol...you start attacking me with stuff that I never really said lol...I was genuinely just trying to be helpful to ya...we've never even had a convo on here before this lol...and if anyone reads any of my posts, I think one can tell that I give props where due to all fighters, and I never really take petty shots at guys, even those who I think are over-rated...perhaps my analysis is wrong sometimes, but yeah I just try my best to call it like I see it.This is nothing but projection. I'm already on record in this thread saying at 135, Pernell should be the favorite...at 130 Loma looked considerably better than he does at 135...but Loma would have a chance though, as Pernell tended to coast sometimes, and Loma's activity may have him steal some rounds and possibly the fight, similar to what Canelo did to Lara on my card a few years back...that is more or less what my previous post was.
I agree that on all sides there is a lot of backing fighters almost purely on racial factors...it is rather sad but at the same time, race is a big identifier for people, so I get it...I do think it is unfortunate that people solely back and rate fighters based on color, but what can ya do...a lot of people on all sides are so jaded by race that they can't really keep it real on most fighters and their analysis is jaded.
Personally I just rate guys based on what I see in the ring...there are a lot of great fighters from all backgrounds so it's not like a fighter from XYZ can't be great.
If Loma stopped fighting today, you would have to add in his amateur career to have him be an 'ATG', which is a fair argument as he was an ATG amateur...I personally think he needs about 3 more or so good wins just to get into the HOF...and then to do a little more than that to be considered a true ATG...but the dude definitely is a special fighter and has a lot of skills...I mean 2 time Olympic Gold Medalist...some very dominant and impressive wins against good/great fighters at 130...I'm just impressed by that and so are many others.
And to that point...you were getting on Loma for wins over GRJr, Walters and Rigo...yet you admit above that McGirt (twice) and Nelson are Whitaker's official 3 best wins...I see your point about the controversy in the DLH and Chavez fights...Chavez was at 147 then too though and not really prime.
Point with all that being, that I think one would have to rate Sweet Pea above Loma right now, but it's not super far away...Sweet Pea just has an official draw and loss in two fights vs great Mexican fighters where many feel they got homecooking against him...Loma has just one fight vs another great fighter so far.
Otherwise they have very similar results at this time...Loma has one 'great' fighter on his list, and that win looks a bit better on paper due to Rigo having to move up in weight...though to be fair, Chavez moved up in weight for Pernell as well so there is some similarity there as well.
Looking at it now...kind of remarkable how similar Sweet Pea and GGG's careers played out in a way...one dominated good fighters via decision...one dominated them via KO...and then in their two big fights vs a Mexican star, they both got an official draw and loss when many feel they should have gotten a much better shake.
In any event man, wasn't trying to come at you earlier...you seem like a good dude...was just trying to build a bridge...hope you have a great day and thanks for your thoughts and good chatting with you some.Comment

All I know is that you quoted me with a ridiculous d-riding argument for why loma is already an atg with just 15 fights. Then you basically accused me of being a racist because I don’t let the anti black racism slide without calling it out. This response from you is kind of my point man lol...you start attacking me with stuff that I never really said lol...I was genuinely just trying to be helpful to ya...we've never even had a convo on here before this lol...and if anyone reads any of my posts, I think one can tell that I give props where due to all fighters, and I never really take petty shots at guys, even those who I think are over-rated...perhaps my analysis is wrong sometimes, but yeah I just try my best to call it like I see it.
You’ve already exposed yourself as biased by declaring loma as an atg already. Like I said, this is a silly thread that was made with an ulterior motive. The point of the thread is to hype loma up as this atg by associating him with a true atg. Not only is loma nowhere near the level that pea reached, anybody who knows, knows that if Pea were alive and fighting right now that loma wouldn’t fight him. Not even the young lightweight version of pea. He vacated to avoid Haney for goodness sake lol.I'm already on record in this thread saying at 135, Pernell should be the favorite...at 130 Loma looked considerably better than he does at 135...but Loma would have a chance though, as Pernell tended to coast sometimes, and Loma's activity may have him steal some rounds and possibly the fight, similar to what Canelo did to Lara on my card a few years back...that is more or less what my previous post was.

This is spin dude come on. I don’t care about loma’s amateur record and that should have no bearing on how he’s judged as a pro. It’s crazy how you’re downplaying pea and his career to try and put loma in his class. I like rigo but you can’t compare him to Chavez. Chavez was like 31 when he fought pea, rigo was 37 at least(probably older than that). You say that Chavez was past his prime but he was still p4p#1 to a lot of people at the time of the fight with pea. Plus they fought at a catch weight so he didn’t have move up much(unlike rigo) and didn’t to deal with a full welterweight pea.Personally I just rate guys based on what I see in the ring...there are a lot of great fighters from all backgrounds so it's not like a fighter from XYZ can't be great.

Nah man, loma has a long way to go. He’s not atg at this point and it’s an insult to say that he is.Comment

Bro I said in that post that I don't even rate Loma as a HOFer in my book, let alone an ATG, if he stopped fighting today lol...I personally don't see a tremendous difference in him and Pernell at this time, as far as resume or even talent...the main difference is the amount of fights and that Pernell proved it quite a bit longer and a bit better so far imho. All I know is that you quoted me with a ridiculous d-riding argument for why loma is already an atg with just 15 fights. Then you basically accused me of being a racist because I don’t let the anti black racism slide without calling it out.

Which admittedly are big things for me...you need to prove it for around 20+ real fights for me to be considered a true great...and as said before, Loma still needs a few more good wins just to get to the HOF for me...and probably a couple great wins more to be an ATG.
I made pretty much the same comments about Loma in a thread the other day when someone talked about current active HOFers...so I'm not changing my argument or anything...the dude looked really really special to me at 130...at 135 he just looks like one of the guys.
All I can say is that I think highly of Rigo and thought that was going to be a great fight...I was really surprised with how easily Loma beat him that night...we all mentioned and knew about the weight beforehand, but I think the weight only became a big talking point after the fight...not saying it was as great of a performance/the exact same as PW vs JCC Sr...but I give Loma credit for a 'great' win there...just my 2 cents.
Pfp he is considerably smaller than Pernell I think so his only real chance is to steal rounds if they fought, which is possible.
As far as Loma/Haney, if I said I knew what was going on with all those 'franchise champion' situations I would be lying lol...to his credit Loma seems like a dude who is willing to fight anyone as long as they have a belt, but I could be wrong, who knows.
And I certainly don't fault you for calling out what you consider to be BS on here...that's basically what I do in most of my posts on here too lol, so I don't judge you for that...I feel like 95% of the posters on here can't really keep it real on fighters so it is hard to not get ****** into that type of thinking on here too.
I was really just trying to provide some friendly advice to maybe not let some stuff get under your skin as much, if you can help it...isn't always that easy...but I think there is a way to call some stuff out without letting it really ruffle your feathers.
If I am off on that and you aren't really that invested when calling guys out, that is fine...but if you let someone steal your peace, are you really winning?Comment

Loma is on a different level.
Better footwork. Absurdly suffocating offense.
You don't have to watch much Boxing to know Loma has it in the bag.Comment

LOL @ people voting for Loma.
The same people that picked Wilder to great Fury, no doubt.
If you're picking Whitaker you should be castrated. No reason for you to be polluting the gene pool.Comment

A lot of it comes down to genetics and training.
Lomachenko's ancestors were warriors, where onky the fiercest survuved. Whitaker's were bred to quit and be submissive. It's like fighting a Pit Bull against a Border Collie.
And Whitaker came of age 20+ years before Lomachenko. The sport has advanced drastically!Comment
