Macklin is correct. There is nothing that Wilder can do to make an adjustment to defeat Tyson Fury. This is a lot different than Joshua's situation with Ruiz.

Wilder doesn't have enough boxing skill to catch up with Fury.

Its simply too late for wilder to learn the many boxing skills required to outbox a level 1 boxer! His days of champ have come to an end! The last chapter is over.. So close the book ('the death of a one-click pony') mr wilder! U had a good run! And your brain seems intact! Welcome to reality! Good luck in your next endeavour.

Wilder will be just fine...once Their is a fair fight...

Next fight Fury will not have an extra 2 to 3 inch advantage...won't have the floppy blinding glove advantage...won't have gasoline dipped bareknuckle advantage....sooo it'll be fair.....

If you dispute that truth with Fury cheating go look at the plethora of evidence on Young Pharaoh's channel mounted against Tyson Fury's clear obvious cheating tactics....

The British champion George Groves acknowledged it....an American heavy weight acknowledged it...I think it was Charles Martin...the ring announcer during the fight acknowledged it...

A British referee stopped a fight 5 years ago because of Tyson Fury cheating the fight before Klitsko heavy-weight fight....soooo he (Tyson Fury cheated)

Since Wilder has been knocking out bums and got praised for that he became complacent, believing that boxing is all about ko stats. Thus after 43 fights I can't see him suddenly become a quality boxer.

Wilder needs to be more reactive and active in the rematch if he even wants a chance to win. The problem is most fighters who don't have that competitory mindset like Fury and Canelo won't be able to develop that 5th gear. I also think Wilder is showing his age. There is just all kinds of vulnerabilities that he can't overcome. One major thing is he tires very easily. He needs to stay on his bike and not let Tyson get on the inside.

After the damage from the last fight and his age DW collects last big check then retires . The man become a millionaire without learning the craft or master its trade . He had the X factor though and the chin to take big shots for 43 fights . Gotta give him credit to get this far and rich .

Maybe Wilder just has to go full Windmill mode to win

Wilder needs better trainer than deas. Fire deas keep breeland bring in an Abel Sanchez trainer who would make them use the jab as a weapon throw combinations every now and then and work on a crisp uppercut to help inside game since deontay has zero inside gwme. Or if has low learning curve or low abilities use the jab as weapon learn a little head movemnt and then learn to get a crisp upcut to keep the fight at distance so can set up the right hand
