I think Hurd probably beats Rosario, one of those weird triangles like we saw with Washington/Kownacki/Helenius.

I don't know his reasons but I think Rosario would knock him out again in a rematch. Rosario looked great and seems to be coming into his prime and looks much better than he did a couple of years ago. He always could punch but his defense and attack has improved a lot.

I agree on J-Rock never being able to hold onto a title though, I don’t think he reacts well to being hit, once he’s hurt; he stays hurt.
Well I don't know anything about him as a trainer other than that he took Jrock to the comeback he did after he looked like he was finished before he started. But regardless yes he does get hurt way too easily,I put it down to not having the mentality to keep focused,he freezes up & gets hit with punches he doesn't see til its lights out.

I believe, that it was more of case of J-Rock coming in overconfident and unprepared. He underestimated Rosario and paid a very dear price for it.

Williams just showed up while Jeison Rosario actually showed up to win. He took the fight right to J-Rock from the opening bell while opening up a nasty gash over his eye lid in the process.

Amen but Hurd probably wants a shot at him first.

Breadman said JRock beating Hurd was one of the best wins since the 1980s.

Where do you think Breadman ranks Rosarios BEATDOWN of JRock?

That Breadman is more of a motivational speaker than a trainer, he’s completely full of BS IMO. If anything J-Rocks. natural talent has carried him. Talking about climbing mountains and making historical anecdotes is all well and good but it’s not gonna help your fighter turn a fight around when he’s getting his ass beat. He’s obviously a decent amateur coach but I don’t think he’s qualified at the elite level, I think it’s a case of a fighter staying too loyal to his amateur trainer the same way Wilder is standing by Jay Deas. The gap between amateur coaches and professional coaches is huge IMO.

Yeah he does freeze a bit, some fighters just don’t know how to react/recover when they get hurt, Frank Bruno is probably the most notable example.
