Has chose not to activate his rematch clause. Is it just a case of he feels he can’t beat Rosario? Or is he moving up in weight or something?

Dunno what this means for J-Rock but I hope it means Rosario can get Teixeira, Lara, or Charlo next. -
Jrock takes the belt from Hurd, Hurd passes on the rematch, probably because the risk of back-to-back losses against future earnings.

This is what happens when there's so much money in the marketplace.... throwing everything out of balance.Comment

Step aside and let the 24 year old Rosario make some noise while a few other guys expose potential weaknesses. If that’s his train of thought then he is wise because I saw the rematch going identically.Comment

Rosario physically overwhelmed him to a point that it would’ve been a rough fight for him. What didn’t bode well is that Rosario was hurting him on the inside and outside, moving forward and backward. An immediate rematch would’ve been brave, but extremely difficult.
Rosario’s battle-tested resume is rare for a prospect these days. He faced an inordinate amount of undefeated and one/two loss opponents.
There are a bunch of solid action matchups with him now, but knowing PBC they’re going to match him up against the most difficult style and least entertaining matchup.Comment
