    Gotta love Canelo haters.

He doesn’t doesn’t face a certain fighter “ canelo ducking he scared” he then faces that fighter “ garbage fight canelo cherry picking” lol

You can’t make that ****tt up these haters really have mental issues.
    Yeah.

I’m probably a “Canelo hater” but honestly, i think this is the trickiest fight that can be made. He gets credit from me.

Canelo didn’t need to take this fight. There’s stylistically easier fights where he makes the same money.

I think this is a real fight. The problem is, come May 2nd when it’s competitive, people will say Canelo is overrated. They won’t say that he actually fought a good opponent, or give Saunders credit either.

Come back here on May 2nd and it’ll be full of posts that Saunders probably got robbed.
I won't go that far but I do agree that Saunders will look a lot better than he did in his last fight.

Billy Joe Saunders hasn’t really build up a resume to make me
excited for this fight. He’s undefeated and all that, and has some decent wins vs Lee, Eubank Jr and Lemiuex but just no big, defining win in his career.

But this is better than Canelo vs some no name, a past prime fighter or some small fighter as his detractors like to call his opponents. They are the same age and Saunders is probably as big or bigger than Canelo. He is also taller and has longer reach so he will probably give Canelo a hard time with the jab, which he likes to use a lot. I can see this fight being stylistically challenging for Canelo.

It’ll be a close fight. I’m sure of that.

I’m not saying BJS will win on the cards, but i think in the eyes of a lot of viewers, they’ll be split on who won.

Fury has actually beaten elite fighters Saunders hasn't lol Big difference you should say Saunders looks good when he wants against B level fighters but on any given day he can lose or look like crap against scrubs who aren't even C level. Canelo is the first A level fighter Saunders has ever faced and until we see him perform well post PED scandal that could explain his up and down performances though out his career. Either way best version of Saunders isn't beating Canelo

It’s true, but can anyone say GGG or Jacobs had better wins before they faced Canelo either? Maybe GGG’s win over Jacobs, but who had Jacobs really beaten?

All their wins were only guys basically on the level of Andy Lee or Lemiuex etc..

So Saunders isn’t any less of a worthy opponent than Jacobs was. His resume is arguably better than Jacobs was.

It certainly could be. Saunders has been hot and cold throughout his career and he will need to be white-hot against Canelo. Either way I'm just glad the fight finally appears to be done.

But Saunders never had the chance to fight an elite opponent until now.

Fury was supposedly average and had no chance v Wlad because he was looking pretty average v lower opposition. I was one of the few on here that picked Fury to beat Wlad.

Bookmark this thread, because i’ll be right.

I’m sure they prefer he fights Beterbiev, Gvozdyk, Usyk, or Tyson Fury but Canelo vs Saunders is an okay fight imo. I just said yesterday that Saunders needs to step it up in competition and this is definitely a big step up. In the event that Saunders beats Canelo, he should get a lot of credit. He’ll get more credit than Canelo would get for beating him, due to Canelo already having a really good resume.
