What Hearn knows about boxing you could put on the back of a postage stamp. Hearn is a pure fantasist and talks complete bollocks. My opinion is that Wilder would absolutely waste little fat Ruiz fit or not. Hearn is still acting like he did that night when Joshua was truly and brutally exposed by nothing more than a decent fighter.Comment

Szpilka had no trouble landing and Ruiz wouldn't either. Despite Ruiz's relatively short reach and stature, he has an excellent jab. Ruiz doesn't need Frazier's leaping hook because in no way does Wilder resemble Ali. Stick and move is just something I've never seen much of from Wilder, I don't know even if it's in his toolbox.Styles make fights.
Joshua was stiff and standing in front of Ruiz. In the second fight, Ruiz couldn't corner AJ and trade. Wilder has a very different style and is much more agile than Joshua. Wilder will try to fight at long range and use his right hand.
Can Ruiz close the gap and through combinations at Wilder? Fury did it...he closed the gap and fought inside but he also used dirty tactics as in manhandling Wilder. It was somewhat similar to what Holyfield did with Tyson, but in both cases, they were taller than their opponents. They used the reach advantage to keep the other at bay. And when they closed the gap, used holding tactics. However, in doing so they could hold their smaller opponents, put weight on them, and deny them movement and balance.
Ruiz cannot do that. Sure, he can use Mike Tyson tactics to charge in and throw combinations (body + uppercut, hook) or Frazier tactics to look for a gazelle hook but we haven't seen him do that yet. Nor have we seen how Wilder will respond to that, him being fairly agile.
What I'm not seeing in my crystal ball is how Ruiz handles getting hit by Wilder. If he handles that, Wilder can't win, imo.Comment

Spot on mate....Lol
Hearn trying to deflect the embarrassment of AJ being wiped out by Ruiz and then running away from him in the rematch.
Wilder would mop the floor with Ruiz. Ruiz isn’t that good. He got beaten by Parker (and no it wasn’t a robbery). Hughie Fury put up a better fight v Parker. The scorecards might not reflect it, but he did.
More time will show the real level of Ruiz, which is probably outside of the top 15 at HW.Comment

Wilder has beaten far better fighters than Andy Ruiz. Ortiz is a good fighter, only the AJ groupies think otherwise. Stiverne 1 was also a solid win against a top 5 guy.
And don’t play the “Wilder fanboy” card cause I’m a huge Fury fan.
I just keep it real.Comment

wilder is a bum and would not last 3 rounds with Joshua.
Didn’t you pick Ruiz to KO Joshua in the rematch.
Fury only looked good because he was facing Wilder and your going to be very upset when Joshua levels fury if and when they fight and that’s if fury don’t run away and retire doing a khan with brook sonComment

Come on man we all know Ruiz would destroy him, Wilder has NOTHING except his swinging punches, if it lands it lands...but Ruiz is not 50 years old like Ortiz, even Ortiz nearly finished him in the first fight..Wilder was lucky the ref gave him plenty of time to recover. i mean what does wilder have? He has no Jab, no movement, no defense, no foot work...we've seen it against Fury...in the first fight Wilder was celebrating the draw lol. Joshua knows how to run around the ring so that was saved him in the second fight...Wilder would stand in front of Ruiz, try his rubbish swinging punches and after he gets whooped he would probably blame his driver for speeding on the way to the arena, it gave him headache and made him feel dizzy, and he would cry for a rematch like usual

Yeah i figured that if Joshua actually had a fight with Ruiz, he'd get knocked out again, i didn't realise that he would run around the ring like a little girl and potshot his way to a decision, and i also figured that Ruiz wouldn't come into the ring as a human blob with boxing gloves on.wilder is a bum and would not last 3 rounds with Joshua.

Unfortunately for Joshua, Fury isn't a human blob and he will smash AJ's glass jaw to little pieces.Comment
