Does this mean Luis Ortiz is not that great?

Many on here (including me) said (incorrectly) that Luis Ortiz is a better boxer than Tyson Fury. If Wilder got rid of Ortiz twice and his stock seems to have fallen after the Fury defeat, where does that put Ortiz now?

I think he’s old so that’ll always be a question but I also think he just got hit.

He literally won every second of both fights before he got hit.

I think Fury-Ortiz would be a great fight.

He fought the wrong fight for an older guy. Too much time was spent standing right in front of Wilder. Should have mixed it up more as Fury did.

Ortiz has skills but his CV is pretty *****, and he is clearly a lot older than he claims so his engine isn't what's needed to box that style. A prime-age Ortiz, boxing professionally, really might have been the boogeyman though!! With that left hand, his skills, size and with youth - DAMN!

Ortiz can barely move his feet, looks like he’s stuck wading through water.

Fury v Ortiz would be a mismatch, especially at this point.

Ortiz is just one of guys that can`t beat Fury or Wilder. he is not that level.

I even doubt he beats Chisora or Whyte. Ruiz stops him probably.

Could be. Wilder and Ortiz should fight other ranked opponents to see where they really rated at

Ortiz was decent 5 years ago in 2015 but the Wilder fans wanted to act like he defeated that Ortiz but he didn’t he fought him 3 years after that otherwise he would have taking an L ,even the Furys knew this and why they were so confident in Fury winning easily.

no. Because sometimes an inferior fighter just has the number of a better fighter. Marco Antonio Barerra could not beat Junior jones. If they fought today, I'd still favor Jones over him lol. Chavez could do nothing with Randal. Forrest struggled with Mayorga(though I scored the 2nd fight for Forrest, it wasn't easy). Floyd looked like ***** both times against Maidana. Styles make fights. Just because fighter A beats fighter B and fighter B beats fighter C, that doesn't mean fighter A automatically beats fighter C.
