That's very true. You are absolutely right. Even as a gatekeeper he still can make a comeback. I am not ready to write "The Bronze Bomber" off just yet.

I still believe in him. However, I just don't believe that he can win a trilogy fight over Tyson Fury right now and I don't want to see him lose again because I feel that it would be too soon.

He would need more time. I feel that the extra rest needed would do his body just fine. If he takes my advice, I think he will come more reinvigorated, better and stronger than ever.

If ref let fight go onto natural conclusion then I'm sure wilder would need longer rest. But as it is ref saved wilder for another day.
But wilder don't really need to fight fury soon. Fury is honourable and he will give wilder rematch in a year a or so time

How many buys would a third fight bring ?
        450 k ? It's a 3 Million $ purse for the travesty artist together with a career ending whooping

He can make 2 m for stepping aside and another 2-5 m fighting some cans on fox

No matter how he's a piece of trash with a broken coward ego now

People said the same thing about AJ and his rematch. It will be a real litmus test for Wilder's spirit and conviction.

Aj Ruiz was a 6 month turnaround. That's about right for Wilder too.
But!! Fury will not get lax like Ruiz did. Wilder will have to improve his boxing skills because Fury will not rest on his laurels.

Hey dude, not seen you around for a while, are you still uploading HW fights to FB?

What did you think of the Fury-Wilder II fight?

When your best win against a 49 year old with high blood pressure though and then you get destroyed - it might.

I don't think he can, he will be pressured to go straight in after a couple months rest

                    I agree.

Theres no shame in losing to Tyson Fury. Even Klitschko lost to him.

I too believe Wilder needs a longer rest. At his age, even though he is athletic and always in shape, he cannot beat nature and his body needs proper rest to function at its peak. Forget the costume, or whatever, perhaps the biggest factor was Wilder not taking any rest and having a quick turn-around after the Ortiz fight.

He ain't 24 any longer to have a full camp, have a fight, turn around and restart camp. Your body just won't allow you to do that and we saw what happened. He needs 6-8 months. Don't spend too much on fitness but train for skills. Agile fighters who rely on that are the ones affected the soonest as they age. Those will skills and power can last longer. Haye and RJJ are good examples.
