I still believe in him. However, I just don't believe that he can win a trilogy fight over Tyson Fury right now and I don't want to see him lose again because I feel that it would be too soon.

He would need more time. I feel that the extra rest needed would do his body just fine. If he takes my advice, I think he will come more reinvigorated, better and stronger than ever.
I agree but $$$ talks & 40% of the 3rd fight is over 20 million. He isn’t getting that to step aside nor would he get that fighting someone else instead of the rematch. I don’t see how he could not exercise the rematch clause...

Going from Ortiz to Wilder in 3 months may have been too much too soon. I thought Fury was the best HW in the world before he even fought his first fight back after the layoff. He is going to be very tough to beat. Wilder did drop him twice but that was weighing 212. Wilder will exercise the rematch & will have 4 or 5 months to prepare. He is always in shape & should be able to rest & train over that period. Wilder made excuses but what losing boxer does not these days? The thing that is different about this beating was Wilder knows he can drop Fury. He got his butt kicked but what he can do is be more aggressive & go for the kill. He has no inside game so he will need to move & come out firing. Pump that jab & follow it up. Being patient didn’t work as Fury is too big & he will wrap him up. Wilder should throw caution to the wind & come out firing. He has nothing to lose & he won only 5 rounds on my cards in 2 fights so his patient game plan didn’t work... He should drop down to 210-215 & make sure he is good for 12 rounds then come out guns blazing... If he loses again it’s no big deal as he is 20 million richer...

Who has he ever beat to elevate him above gatekeeper status?
