That's not how it works. Filed purses and guarantees aren't the same thing. The filed purses for Bradley-Pacquiao 3 were 7 and 4 mil, but Arum lost money on the 400k PPV. Why? Because Pacquiao's Guarantee was 20 mil.

Is it possible that the networks can or "might" pull the plug if Wilder exercises his rematch clause? Time will tell, won't it. Low expectations, low guarantees, if any at all. It's not rocket science. From what I gather from friends in the industry, rematch clauses are already approved by the networks. Otherwise what would be the point? The networks are stuck with this fight if Wilder wants it. That's why FS1 is replaying a version of Wilder/Ortiz 2 to try and hype the Fury/Wilder third fight. Apparently Wilder will exercise his right to the fight.
