Whatever it takes to have an undisputed champion. If Fury and AJ come to terms for a full unification Wilder could step aside and get the winner. Imo that would be perfect.

The guarantee is between the promoters and the fighter.
Your talking about a champ against a basically a stand in. Maybe I should have only addressed these type of situations. Was Joshua's purse written in the rematch clause? Of course not! They didn't know where the second fight was taking place. The guaranteed percentage is 60/40 for the winner of the second Wilder/Fury fight. As usual you changed your argument when you were proven wrong. It went from networks voiding the contract to purses. Typical Barrett bullshyte.Last edited by Alan Smithee; 02-29-2020, 08:02 AM.

You said purses aren't written in rematch clauses. I proved they are. = You are wrong.
Yes that's the split, But what's the guarantees? You're talking like you know what's in the contract, i was speculating. Get you dumb ass out of here.
If there's big guarantees in the contract and the network don't want to take the risk and back them. Then the promoters won't have the money to pay the guarantees. Pretty ****ing simple.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 02-29-2020, 07:50 AM.

Do some research and stop your usual blabbering. " I'm talking like I know what's in the contract"? The 60/40 has been reporting on numerous occasions. The second Wilder/Fury fight was a minimum of 5 million each. They both reportedly made between 25 and 30 each. Obviously that amount cannot be guaranteed in advance. Do you understand the business even a tad? You ended with "pretty simple" believing that you are correct? Let's wait and see if Wilder exercises the rematch clause. Get back to me when the networks void it! When the fight is signed you will forget all about this post and continue on with your nonsense about something else. You can't help yourself. It's the Barrett way!

Tyson Fury Guaranteed Purse ($5 million) : Fury make $5 million guaranteed purse money from the fight and he will earn more from the pay-per-view split revenue which is (50%). According to reports estimated PPV revenue for the 2nd fight ($77 million). Which means both fight received $25 million. If fury win’s the fight he will earn 60% in third fight pay-per-view fight.
Deontay Wilder Guaranteed Purse ($5 million) : Wilder make massive money from his rematch fight against Fury. His guaranteed purse is $4 million in first fight and 2nd fight estimated purse is ($7 million). Currently these are estimated purse based on reported pay-per-view sales and gateway income on fight date. The official purse payout details updated here later including pay-per-view revenue.
From the Sporting News:
Wilder vs. Fury 2 fight purse, prize money
The State of Nevada Athletic Commission told Sporting News that Wilder and Fury will be earning $5 million apiece for their rematch.
Did you read the above information? Do you really believe that I thought that guys fought for free? The networks were not on the hook for the 25 mil each that you seem to believe. You talk a good game but in actuality there is not much knowledge. If you are correct then the networks will decline a third fight. If I am correct they will not. End of story! I'll get back to you when the fight is signed and say " Barrett, wrong as usual". Seems to happen a lot with you. Hmmmm............

Take a deep breath and read above post very slowly. The guarantees for this fight were based on projections and estimates. If a third fight is predicted to have a lower audience then obviously the fighters will not make as much money. You always find a way to deflect from your original point and hurl insults. Your claim is that Wilder's rematch clause can be voided by television networks. Absolutely false. Worst case for Wilder, he makes much less money for a trilogy fight. If and when the third fight is signed, then I will not hear another peep about this discussion. Your behavior has been the same since I joined this forum. Ranting and ranting and then silence when proven wrong. Let's see if you are correct this time. Highly doubt it. If the networks "void" the exercised rematch clause then I will gladly apologize and eat crow. I doubt that you can promise the same. Have a great day and enjoy whatever soccer games that are on later. As for myself I will be watching the Garcia/Vargas card. I have a modest wager on Vargas with great odds. Not sure he will win but that's ********!

You've done nothing but embarrass yourself in this thread. Exposing you don't know what you're talking about.
They don't put purses in rematch clauses doe........
They can't guarantee 25 mil doe.............
Absolute ****ing clown. You came in trying to be a **** because i speculated that the fight might not happen because of purses that could be in the contracts. You're leaving looking like a clueless idiot.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 02-29-2020, 02:43 PM.
