i get the whole protect the fighter at all cost but when the fight was stopped, wilder wasnt even taking all that much damage... yes i agreed that fury would have stopped wilder regardless but when the fight was stopped, wilder wasnt in that much trouble. i would have like for the fight to go on a lil longer.

I think breland will still work with Wilder.. He just won't have a towel to throw anymore.

Yeah have to spare a thought for Breland right now. He put Wilder's wellbeing first and will probably pay for it with his job.

If it does come to that I hope he finds work with a team that's worthy of him. It was definitely heading towards a very sickening knockout.

The ridiculous thing about it is that Breland might just have saved the possibility of a third fight too. If Wilder had been rendered unconscious a round or so later, a third fight would have been a hard sell. As it stands, Wilder got out without taking a career ending beating and being able to blame everyone but himself - ie he can now can sell a third fight on the premise that without the suit, the ref and Breland, his right will land.

Breland should get a cut of the third fight if it happens.

Having said that, Wilders family need to send a thank you card to Mark Breland,he saved Wilder from himself. Wilder must also apologise for his ill timed disrespectful remarks on Mark.

Finally he needs to identify the yes men in his team then fire them starting from his head coach!

This is the first thing that he needs to do, he then needs to get away from those LDBC ("You are still our champ") guys, those who have hyped him up and use him for their racial narratives.

You know, those stilts are never going to absorb a decent punch. Maybe his chin is in fact iffy as well, but those legs...
