Go try and teach someone something they don't want to learn and see how well that works out.Last edited by YoungManRumble; 02-24-2020, 07:05 PM.

I’m not sure any coach can really teach him something new. Fire Breland for using his better judgment? No fighter wants to truly die in the ring rather than have it stopped. He might fire him as a scapegoat to save face, but it won’t help him going forward.

He should give him a raise, not only potentially saved his health also provided him a lightning rod to avoid further embarrassment.
They have a rematch clause, from a business perspective I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner, the longer it went on the less the rematch makes sense.

Actually the more I listen to Breland the more I think you might just be right. He was a better fighter than trainer. Some of the **** he says is pretty crazy and some is spot on. Maybe just too much faith in his guy.

Only a fool would have yes men in their team.
I respect Breland making the move he made but if he agreed to not throw in the towel to Wilder previously you gotta fire the guy for doing what he said he wouldn't do. Simple as that. Or a threat of firing should be on the table at a minimum.

Are you a yes man, you would let someone die rather than disobey their order.
Let their children grow up without a father, or maybe a father who is a "vegetable.
To hell what I am told, I will do the right thing.
Shame you can only follow orders.
