That's nonsense. These mofos are getting PAID. there's no excuse for Wilder to not know what a jab is. i mean Ricardo Mayorga is a better boxer than him. not joking either.

Are you just being willfully ignorant? It's common knowledge and documented that he hardly listens to his trainers... The have the sweetest gig there is. Paid to do nothing.

Go try and teach someone something they don't want to learn and see how well that works out.

He needs to fire them both, but not for any reason connected to the towel. The whole team needs to be fired because they haven't taught the dude how to fight. Deontay, Manny Robles is looking for a good HW!

What kind of corner would allow their fighter to die in the ring? Breland should be fired for actually caring about Wilder? What are you on?

I’m not sure any coach can really teach him something new. Fire Breland for using his better judgment? No fighter wants to truly die in the ring rather than have it stopped. He might fire him as a scapegoat to save face, but it won’t help him going forward.

He should give him a raise, not only potentially saved his health also provided him a lightning rod to avoid further embarrassment.

They have a rematch clause, from a business perspective I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner, the longer it went on the less the rematch makes sense.

Well maybe common knowledge is going a little overboard but I've definitely heard Breland say Wilder doesn't really listen to him or the trainers much. It was probably after the first Fury fight. It's kind of hard to look up now with all the recent controversy but I'm pretty damn sure of this. I'm sure someone can back me up or refute it either way. I have no reason to lie.

Actually the more I listen to Breland the more I think you might just be right. He was a better fighter than trainer. Some of the **** he says is pretty crazy and some is spot on. Maybe just too much faith in his guy.

I dont see this as a yes men situation. Ultimately the boxer is the boss. What he says goes...or you gotta go.

I respect Breland making the move he made but if he agreed to not throw in the towel to Wilder previously you gotta fire the guy for doing what he said he wouldn't do. Simple as that. Or a threat of firing should be on the table at a minimum.

Are you a yes man, you would let someone die rather than disobey their order.

Let their children grow up without a father, or maybe a father who is a "vegetable.

To hell what I am told, I will do the right thing.

Shame you can only follow orders.
