In the immediate aftermath of a one sided fight, everyone thinks another will be exactly the same. I am not sure, but I am sure Fury would be all in. Joshua's dance card may be full for the remainder of 2020 if he handles both his mandatories that are due, not to mention if he loses one or the other. So why would Fury not jump all over another huge payday?

Wilder could still land something life altering to win the 3rd match, but unless Wilder changes something up Fury is as confident of winning again as the sun is fairly sure it will rise in the AM. Throw in that Fury probably feels that this past win cements a legacy, what does he truly have to lose?

A third fight makes perfect sense for for both men, since AJ is fighting in June they might as well have the Wilder-Fury rematch at Wembley stadium in July with the winner fighting AJ for the undisputed title in December, it's the perfect timeline as it gives 5 months in between fights.
At this stage of their careers it doesn't make sense for either man to go back to fighting bums for peanuts.

In my book he achieved Atg status last night.

And when asked about a third fight with Wilder or a potential Joshua fight, Fury didn't commit to either and chose not to look to the future but instead enjoy the moment of this tremendous victory.
Even If he has to kick Wilders butt again, he has to honor that contract or suffer legal ramifications..... You're right though, he "needs Tyson," not the other way around.....I feel good having no problem saying, "ALL HAIL THE GYPSY KING!!" lol (But I'll call him out on his dumb hooker/coke talk and PED usage if need be,... AND headlock wrestling)....

All the flack he'd catch from the Brits was baffling to me (as though gypsies are somehow worthless traveling nobodies - jus passin thru - searching for shelter in lagoons or wherever!) Its why he'll be like Lennox, he doesn't soley want to identify with them. And for good reason. Btw, Respect to the non-judgemental Brits - I know they do exist...

I originally thought that Wilder should bypass a third fight but this may be his last reasonable shot at the title. Joshua and Hearn always talk a good game but the Pulev and Usyk fights will take place well before a Fury/Joshua fight. There is no sense is letting Fury defend the belt a few times and then "maybe" fight Joshua. When would Wilder get another shot at the title? Late next year at the earliest.

With that being stated, I think Wilder and his team will exercise the rematch clause. Too much money on the table not to do it. The fight may not be necessary but ESPN and Fox can hype it and spin it to make it compelling for the fans.

I didn't like when people got nasty when AJ got beat and I don't like it with Wilder as well. Both got beat, but that's the fight game. I don't think AJ quit and we all know Wilder is also game. Wilder got pulverized and still wanted to continue, I respect him and it certainly seems like Fury respects him.

It's insane to compare AJ to Wilder. Everyone seems to be talking about his loss to Ruiz, and it ain't like Fury or Wilder has fought Ruiz. AJ has fought top names in this game and outside Fury, Wilder has fought nobodies. The one good name he's fought has given him a good beating.

Again, never assume that AJ VS FURY would be like this. It takes a combo of skill and strength to fight Fury. Wilder has strength and zero boxing skills. AJ is the combo of skill and strength. AJ VS FURY IS A 50-50.

Also, he didn't lay down or tap out last night even after being dropped twice. He got up and still managed to finish the fight on his feet. He ate every punch Fury landed and still was standing.

So that tells me that his spirit is more than willing to do it again. In addition, he still has that power too. If he were to follow your blue print, then it could take him several years before ever getting another shot at the WBC heavyweight title again.
Yeah, but if I was Fury, I would not fight him, he arguably beat him twice already.
At some point Wilder might land a home run punch.

Wilder failed twice already. I get that he deserves a rematch to get his title back but it should have been Fury defending last night.

This fight already was a rematch.

I'd rather see Fury Whyte at this point.

‘I still got a punchers chance man, I can do it’ ...he is delusional and his team are worse, they’re just shackling their cash cow.
