I will preface my comments by stating I don't think either AJ or Wilder can beat the version of Fury we saw this last weekend.

With that being stated, I think Wilder and his team will exercise the rematch clause. Too much money on the table not to do it. The fight may not be necessary but ESPN and Fox can hype it and spin it to make it compelling for the fans.

I didn't like when people got nasty when AJ got beat and I don't like it with Wilder as well. Both got beat, but that's the fight game. I don't think AJ quit and we all know Wilder is also game. Wilder got pulverized and still wanted to continue, I respect him and it certainly seems like Fury respects him.

Wilder can even come back at 112lbs if he feels better and more effective, I’m through questioning his lighter weight choices. He now has what it takes to defeat Fury more than ever. Kudos to Breland for “caring” about his boy and not folding under pressure....
How was it a premature stoppage his corner threw in the towel lol something they could've done in the 5th round it is what is man. I was going for Wilder but you just have to call it straight Fury is a good boxer too and is hilarious but I'm a little skeptical about this new found power might be eating some more uncastrated hogs but unless he tests positive again I have no proof and just have to give credit for him winning.

Wilder will always have power and he has shown he can hurt Fury too a rematch was always expected to happen everybody knew there was a clause. If Wilder would have knocked out Fury people would be on here in favor of the trilogy still. Yeah Wilder got beat up but luckily his corner did the right thing and stopped it before any serious damage was done. He still has a shot against anyone if he can land that bomb so the 3rd fight would still be something people will watch.

To be honest I don't know that Tyson is on board for the third fight.
He's been talking retirement and after a HUGE win like that who knows what he does next.

In my book he achieved Atg status last night.

And when asked about a third fight with Wilder or a potential Joshua fight, Fury didn't commit to either and chose not to look to the future but instead enjoy the moment of this tremendous victory.

It all depends on the ppv numbers as it needs to do about 1.2 mil sales to make any profit from last night, the ppv provider takes 50% while Wilder/Fury were guaranteed $25 mil so ESPN/Fox dont see the first 100mil.....thats not counting advertising spending either

Truth is Tyson doesn't need Deontay

He can jus walk away and retire

            Deontay needs Tyson.

I really don't know if it was premature or not, I'm just assuming he could've bounced back. I was 'convinced' they were gonna stop the fight against Ortiz - but Wilder(?) - you know the rest. (I watched the Fury rematch about 2hrs ago) Wilder protested the stoppage to the ref right away, and then again right away to Breland ("why you stopped it, why??").

His heart of a champion was still in it. You can't tell him he would'nt have been able to bounce back. Now some Brit fangirls are dismissing everything he's ever done and is 100% sure he's not even attempting to make a come back.... In the ring he looked unusually relaxed and "out of it" even before the 1st bell rang to fight....

Respect to Fury for the win, I would like to see him beat Joshua. But Wilder deserves his earned shot. He CAN beat Fury if he hasnt reached that past prime stage.... a full onslaught of unanticipated "windmills" can do Fury some serious damage...lol... Fury isn't the only awkward one. The thing is, Wilder was trying to be a little too "orthodox" with low energy.....maybe his 'prime' has come to an end, maybe not....but theres no reason to give Joshua a MONEY GRAB freebie...not at all.

Wilder can't beat Fury lol. He had 2 tries. Lost a UD and got TKOed. Game over

Wilder need to go get that 40% and if he gets stopped again walk away from boxing with the millions that he made and have Haymon teach him if he already hasn't about investing.

In the third fight it can be only worse for Wilder. I don`t see how can he change anything.

I wonder what the contract says about the tv deal?

You can oblige a fighter to fight. You can't oblige two networks to share the revenue and limelight.

Fox/Sho might go back into protection mode. Then what? Purse bids? Will either fighter actually be prepared to cross the street?
