Why is everyone writing off Deontay Wilder?!

He showed he has the heart of a champion, he’s obviously going to take the 3rd fight.

But there are things he can do differently. Wilder came in too heavy, he didn’t look right even before the fight. He’s not used to being this weight. Plus, he’d Be prepared for Fury’s tactics now as wilder didn’t believe fury was really going to walk him down, so now he knows and he’ll adjust his game plan.

Fury after the fight said wilder caught him in the first round that nearly put him down, said it was a punch full of dynamite.
Wilder could very well just easily KO fury in the 3rd fight. He needs to come in lighter, a weight he is used to and work on his counters.

I think some of the british fans are getting over-exuberant with their celebrations and as usual writing off anyone as soon as they lose, it was the same with Joshua.

I think he will always have that equaliser and anyone short of a good defence/chin will be in serious trouble against him.

It's not out of the question for him to land on Fury in a third fight but his chances are not great

It looks like he took a nasty injury to his ear and after that he was struggling to sit up straight in his corner, let alone throw punches. One hard punch from Fury doesn't suddenly make him awful. Hopefully losing that belt and that 0 will mean he gets in some good fights now. I want to see him in with Whyte, maybe Parker, maybe even Dubois in the next 2 years.

Fury did a good job of neutralizing Wilder' right hand by collapsing the pocket with his size advantage of both height and reach. Tyson wouldn't allow the "Bronze Bomber" to get close enough at midrange in order to land it.

When Wilder did land it, it was more of glancing blow because he was fighting off the back foot as Tyson saw the shots coming in. Had Fury been at least 4 inches shorter with at least a 4 inch reach disadvantage then perhaps Wilder would have been more effective in landing that equalizing right hand of his from the outside.

He will never beat Fury. That 12th round of the first fight was where the door closed on him ever winning this fight.

We have always questioned his skills, even those of us that were pulling for him.

Now he just took the kind of beating that can ruin a fighter.

He has to do a lot of work to come back stronger after this.

It's what boxing fans do, as soon as someone loses a fight they are instantly trash and a bum!! AJ was finished and exposed etc... after the first Ruiz fight and written off for the rematch and look what happened. I've never been a big Wilder fan but I wish him the best and hope he can come bounce back from this.

There is nothing Wilder can learn in the next few months that will save him from another embarrasing beatdown.
He has always been a one trick pony, and was always going to be exposed. His power has also been hugely hyped. Fury walked through some right hands last night and they just bounced off him The one trick pony can't suddenly learn how to box in the next few months. It's over, he is completely exposed.
