    Wilder vs Fury 2

I am glad that it is happening today so that from now on sanity can prevail in this beautiful sport.
No sane boxing fan can stop thinking about a fight between Joshua and the winner between the two fighters of tonight. Those who discount AJ from our current heavyweight top dogs do that at their own peril.
It is good that Wilder and Fury are fighting again and after tonight, most of us boxing fans would want to see a fight between AJ and the winner.
None of the two heavyweights (Wilder and Fury) have the right to claim greatness until they have beaten AJ, simple as that. One champion against 3 belts champion.
Fury has already ruled out fighting Joshua. I think Guru's win will not be good for the sport because after winning he is going to go wild and let himself be disqualified so that he does not defend the title or he will pick up three lauzy journeymen to fight. So, we would never see the mega fight we all crave for.
If Wilder wins, it would not be easy to set up an undisputed fight with Joshua but it could happen. I am saying this because Wilder is ageing and would like to make more money than he has never been able to make over his entire career. He knows that after the fight with Joshua, win or lose, he would have the biggest payday of his life. I don't think that Wilder is afraid of Joshua and vice versa. I however think that Fury is afraid of Joshua that is why he'll never fight him.
I say, suspend the trilogy thing until the winner has faced Joshua in a two way fight. That is is a fair fan request to make.

Ruiz vs Ortiz is the fight to make. End of discussion.
That raw sewage of a fight with Arreola may work as a "get well" fight, but it does nothing for Ruiz career. This fight would. It is an easy to market, clash of styles, and the winner revives his career, so very high stakes.

Totally agree with you. This is the fight to make.

He turned down a career high payday at the end of the day.... not hearn’s fault his team dropped the ball

Im guessing he was told not to take the fight because he was being lined up for the wilder fight again , same reason Kownacki said no .

I don’t believe for one minute Ortiz was scared or anything like that just bullshiz politics

What if he lied? What if he added weight deliberately to have more power? Boxers always have excuses when they lose. From June to December is six months, if he partied for 3 months, he still have 3 months for training. In my opinion, Ruiz underestimated AJ's ability to move around for 12rounds. There are so many videos of Ruiz training very well and knocking out his trainers prior to the second fight. Suddenly the story changed when he lost the fight.

Ortiz - I'm not a unified world champion, who has beaten many top 10 fighters and i'm not a massive draw. FIGHT ME.

What is Arreola? He's none of those things and is less qualified than Ortiz.

                      Hearns Ortiz offer

Hearns did not want Ruiz to fight Ortiz in the first place He just made them a low ball offer to save face but when it backfired Hearn reneged.
