What if he lied? What if he added weight deliberately to have more power? Boxers always have excuses when they lose. From June to December is six months, if he partied for 3 months, he still have 3 months for training. In my opinion, Ruiz underestimated AJ's ability to move around for 12rounds. There are so many videos of Ruiz training very well and knocking out his trainers prior to the second fight. Suddenly the story changed when he lost the fight.

So his trainer lied, and Haymon overreacted when he forced Ruiz to get a new trainer because Ruiz was no longer listening and was un disciplined. And excuse is I was sick, I was injured, no boxer used I partied for 3 months as an excuse. You're creating your own story for what? Because you want AJ's win to look more legitimate? Believe what you want, but everyone knows what really happened. And AJ won, it doesnt really matter which Ruiz showed up. AJ would have won because of the style he chose to fight in.
