    Not buying it.

Briggs is like Vitali. His best win was losing to Lennox Lewis.

Not buying him as a threat or a legitimate challenger for one second.

A guy who fights outside of the box.....like Sanders, Brewster, and Puritty.....oh wait: BRIGGS.

Can give him trouble, because none of them are technical fighters. They go out there to kill the other guy, and will take some to land some.

      Dangerous situation.

If the fight is technical....it's over Wlad by K.O.
briggs definitely has to fight very agressively to win this fight. if he just sits back and worries about stamina like against jameel mcline and doesnt throw too many too often he'll get taken apart and stopped. if he does get agressive early he has a 1 in 4 or 5 chance of scoring a knockout in my opinion. we'll see,,,definitely a dangerous fight for wlad. I give him credit that he's fighting a style that gives him the most problems. guys with hand speed and power. he could have taken an easier way like valuev and lyakowich. briggs is hardly a top 5 guy but to wlad he is due to his strength

** Briggs and Peter are the most dangerous heavies today. Both very big, very strong, good chins, and willing to throw down hard. That'd be a great match, but Wlad best fight a perfect fight if he wants to beat Briggs who has a lot of experience and motivation at this point.

Of course he's going to take a title fight, for the money if no other reason. Its not like he’s guaranteed a shot at Valuev or Lyakovich.

I used to think that this was a dangerous fight, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that this fight is a joke. Briggs isnt even a name anymore, its a waste of a fight, and if he wins, the huggers will go crazy about how Wlad "is the best of his era" and the haters will be screamin mad. He should've called out Brewster already.

Briggs might be slightly over the hill, but heavyweights have always had the ability to fight at an older age effectively due to the fact that speed isn't as important, which is the first to go with age. Briggs might not've been facing competition for some time but his punching power is still more than enough to KD Wlad and possibly KO. I'd favor Wlad, but this is hardly an exection or something.

Shannon Briggs is probably the best challange for Wlad right now, he has good experience, very agressive/strong its gona be hell of a fight, if I were to bet I would bet for Wlad, if he can survive the early rounds he'll chop Briggs down badly...

lol,,,I meant wlad could have taken an easier way like lykawich and valuev. meaning briggs is more dangerous than mcbride or barret
