I mean if Plant took a Kovalev round 8 beating then yeah I think its reasonable to claim that 12 weeks is too soon to mentally and physically recover and train but its not like Feigenbutz really pushed Plant hard.

Maybe the problem is ODH only makes offers to the weakest guys in the division. I see he's reached out to Smith and BJS, made noise about Plant, but nothing about Benavidez. Made an offer to BJS, who he called boring, but not Andrade, who he called boring. We know which one is tougher. Fought Kov, the oldest guy at 175, rather than Bieterbiev or Bivol.

Looks like these fighters have peeped ODH's style and decided they will either get the money they want or just say no and make Canelo fight the guys he really doesn't want to.

Hold up, I never posted anything of the sort. I'm sure a few Brits did but that is only because they are supporting their countrymen.

You get my point. The problem isn't who ODH is making offers to, its who he isn't. Guys like Andrade, Benavidez( maybe not), Bieterbiev and Bivol would likely jump on an offer, so he doesn't offer them, because they are tough to beat. Then he negotiates through the media with the guys he feels Canelo has a better chance to beat.

I get that but that strategy can only work for so long.
