Canelo will be 32 with over 60 pro fights. I expect more of you to understand the significance of that.

        No, they don't.

        Here's a great example:

Canelo has only fought with a gap that short between fights once since winning the title, and that was headed into a fight with a hilariously shot Kermit Cintron back when he was being built up. He wasn't able to do his usual training camp in Big Bear because the window was too short; he just worked out in Guadalajara and then did a couple weeks of sparring at the beginning of November. It wasn't a big deal because this was a walkover of a fight.

Any time Canelo's been in any sort of legit match, he's had over 90 days between fights, which gives him plenty of time for rest before heading back into camp.

So.... Canelo doesn't do that. But Caleb Plant should? Interesting.

          We talking about PLANT!

10 weeks notice is not short notice. thats over 2 and a HALF MONTHS!

2 weeks off is WHAT MOST BOXERS DO BEFORE THEY GO BACK TO THE GYM!

8 weeks CAMP is WHAT MOST BOXERS CAMP IS!

Tune up fights is what most boxers want before a big fight, Plant has had 2 MIKE LEE and FRATUGBERG

          SO STOP IT!

            So, quick question.

If Ruiz had beat Joshua in the rematch, and Haymon had offered Ruiz the unification with Wilder 76 days later, giving Ruiz, at best, less than three weeks off before going back into the gym, would Ruiz have taken that offer?

Fuck no he wouldn't. That's not how it works when we're talking world championship level fighters. There's zero chance Ruiz would take that fight with that short a window.

And if Haymon came out and said Andy was disqualified from being an opponent for Wilder because didn't take the fight on the Feb. date, would you be defending Wilder?

Would you be calling Ruiz a coward? No balls? Afraid of losing the title?

I think we both know the answer.

Plant is a diva. What he had last Saturday was barely a fight, I bet he gets touched up more in sparring.

Im sure he would, everything points to he would. He took AJ fight on short notice. However one variable (an important one too), RUIZ was in a hard fight vs AJ unlike plant who been in 2 sparring session in his past 2 recent fights in the past 12 months. so not really same comparison there.... but..... yeah..... im sure he would.

and I would defend wilder for what his advisor Al haymon says? first off im not a hoe so I wont be making wilder take responsibility for what someone else says and do lmfao

and Again never once have I defended Canelo or Oscar in this thread, I have solely spoke on Caleb PLANT. ITS YOU WHO MUDDYS IT UP and brings what OSCAR says and what CANELO DID or didnt do lmfao.

Heres how weird you are about this entire thing, read this (YOUR QUOTE)

I'm pretty sure Plant will fight Canelo. I think he'd do very well against him as well. I still see Canelo winning though. You're not beating Canelo on the cards anywhere in North America.
