There are 2 things going on here. Only you guys don't want to talk about both things, you want to pick and choose what to discuss.

1. Guys are turning down offers to fight Canelo. This is a problem. Yes, some of these guys appear to be very greedy. While the devil is in the details, a number of you have pointed out that guys like Floyd that wanted to be great took the crappy offer and won and went on to become super star. This is a fair point.

However, there is another side to this that some of you need to discuss as well

2. Canelo and Dazn not making the best fights, avoiding Andrade and stalling the 3rd ggg fight. This is utterly disgraceful and you guys need to call them out for this with the same vitriol you call out the guys that are turning down offers. DAZN is trying to save the 3rd ggg fight for as long as they can. They will not match Andrade v GGG or Canelo because Andrade could win and mess that up.

Instead, they are trying to find cheap replacement fights to save resources and ensure their plans are not ruined. I've already complained about GGG/SZermerta and Andrade/Keeler. Now BJS and Smith would be decent oppoenets for Canelo, but Caleb Plant? Come on.

No one involved is doing what is best for the sport. Not Hearn, ODH, GBP, DAZN or the fighters. Everyone is doing what is best for their own pockets.

The way that I see I is that these fighters want a guaranteed amount that is worth possibly losing their belts over. At this point in the game,the only way that you're beating canelo is if you knock him out. The guy still has 8 fights left on his dazn contract,and you can be sure as hell that no judges are going to try to upset that gravy train. From an opponents perspective you're thinking "alright,this guy could beat me by ko'ing me,or by winning on points,meanwhile my only chance of winning is knocking his ass out. If that's the case,I want more money". I can't really fault these guys for wanting to be compensated considering the fact that even before they get into the ring,canelo is already up by 3 rounds on at least 1 card. Boxing right now is an unsustainable bubble. You have a select amount of people making a ridiculous amount of money,while others are fighting for buckles and dimes. Fighters are realizing that of they hold out,they too can get a piece of the pie. It's going to get to the point where fighters won't get into the ring for less than 10 mill,and even the lowest journeymen are going to be asking for 6 figure paydays. Eventually that bubble is going to pop,and the sport will collapse in on itself since there isn't that much money to go around.

DAZN has Callum, BJS, Andrade, GGG and Canelo under their umbrella. Why are we talking about PBC when it comes to making a fight for Canelo?

Well, are we? A lot of threads are being made that its good for Canelo's and GDP's offer being turned down so that they would make more. Well **** that, if they are getting offered 7 mil+ heck the 5 million+ that GDP offered to Sergey why on earth should GDP over pay considering that 5 million alone is already over paying.

A lot of these guys that Canelo offered with the exception of Sergey Kovalev and Daniel Jacobs had little to no fans, and should not deserve 7 million+ but it's Canelo's fault now that he can't make a fight.

I have seen no proof of an offer to Charlo. He allegedly turned an offer down over a year ago. Why would you be bringing that up now in 2020?

As for Plant, no offer has been made that I am aware of. I did see Plant say the following:

“So that means take half a month off, after a three-and-a-half month camp, and then go right back to work, right? Just so they can try and get me when I’m overworked. So you control the narrative, you control the media. They make an offer, knowing that I just fought, so when we say no, it seems like I’m ducking him.
