There are 2 things going on here. Only you guys don't want to talk about both things, you want to pick and choose what to discuss.

    1. Guys are turning down offers to fight Canelo. This is a problem. Yes, some of these guys appear to be very greedy. While the devil is in the details, a number of you have pointed out that guys like Floyd that wanted to be great took the crappy offer and won and went on to become super star. This is a fair point.

However, there is another side to this that some of you need to discuss as well

    2. Canelo and Dazn not making the best fights, avoiding Andrade and stalling the 3rd ggg fight. This is utterly disgraceful and you guys need to call them out for this with the same vitriol you call out the guys that are turning down offers. DAZN is trying to save the 3rd ggg fight for as long as they can. They will not match Andrade v GGG or Canelo because Andrade could win and mess that up.

Instead, they are trying to find cheap replacement fights to save resources and ensure their plans are not ruined. I've already complained about GGG/SZermerta and Andrade/Keeler. Now BJS and Smith would be decent oppoenets for Canelo, but Caleb Plant? Come on.

No one involved is doing what is best for the sport. Not Hearn, ODH, GBP, DAZN or the fighters. Everyone is doing what is best for their own pockets.

These managers and promoters only want to make fights in house where their main guy is the favorite. They aren’t doing what’s best for the fighter. Their having them turn down career money and a chance at a life changing win.
Until these fighters take control of their careers and understand their reps work for them not the other way around this is what it will be.
Maybe the fighters themselves are afraid to be great and are content riding out their mediocre careers.

I don’t understand who was advising Smith, I know his manager (Joe Gallagher) is a full known prick around here, he has been talking about this fight for that last 12 months in the UK, and how Canelo is avoiding them. They even threatened to leave Hearn if he doesn’t deliver the Canelo fight. At the end of the day Hearn cannot deliver that fight, the only person that can is GBP, they are the A-side and they pick and choose which opponents they want next.

And if they say smith is next then they speak to his promoter who then informs his manager of the offer on the table, BJS I think is self-managed so am not sure what is going on there.

Canelo has a right to be a diva to these guys, he has earned it. I just don’t think he should be a diva to his network though. They pay his wages and so far he has told them he doesn’t want to fight GGG in a third fight. And to be honest I don’t expect him to fight at 160 anymore, so even if the GGG fight happens in future then it would probably be at 168.

The Big Dunn is crying that DAZN’s hasn’t pushed the GGG 3 fight when its supposedly justified with controversy. Therefore, why isn’t The Big Dunn crying that Charlo should’ve given a rematch to Korobov? Many are saying that Wilder didn’t win any rounds against Fury. Didn’t Wilder criticize SHowtime commentary and shell out Paulie? So if Wilder beats Fury on POINTS... do we need a Trilogy? I could care less for a GGG trilogy. It does nothing for Canelo since Canelo proved all doubt in the rematch.

Lastly, The Big Dunn is LDBC. The LDBC simply use Andrade as a PROXY to bring up the race card. The Big Dunn said “DAZN should bring the best fights...” Canelo vs Smith (Ring and Super WBA) is more substantial than Andrade...

The Big Dunn just complaining about nothing just stay relevant and subtextually cry injustice against Haymon Sports.

We going to sit here and act like Canelo making $36 million a fight isn’t ridiculous? He’s a big problem as well on why boxing is in a bad state right now. No fighter deserves $36 million per fight, Canelo doesn’t sell like GBP and DAZN paint it as if he’s a megastar.

Truth is GBP and DAZN losing tons of $$$ on these Canelo fights. No way did Canelo-Kovalev made a profit
