Canelo come down off your $60m Yacht and pay BJS properly he will give you and the fans a good run for that money!
      *SHHHHHH

You are correcr and he was right to do so. Difference here is, the 1st GGG was and still bigger, riskier (arguably) & more in demand than a fight with Billy Joe, Smith, Andrade or Charlo. Canelos team caved because they knew how big that fight was, what it meant & the demand from the public/network(HBO). Similar to Pac Floyd, And Floyd Connor. The demand allowed those guys to make what they felt they deserved. Unfortunately the public & networks haven't gotten behind Andrade, Charlo, Smith and Billy the way they got behind GGG.

But when it comes to purses I think he's been decently fair. I mean look at what Floyd was doing...
32M compared to 1.5M for Maidana
37m compared to 3M for rematch
32M compared to 4M for Berto
41.5M compared to 5M for Canelo

Guys were hopping in there to fight Floyd for way less than what Canelo is giving guys. And the pay gap is way smaller. But for whatever reason the outcry wasn't as drastic as it is today
Those guys got PPV backend money. They were jumping at the chance to fight floyd because they knew the PPV would almost be guaranteed to hit 1 million buys. There is no backend money with DAZN so these guys want the backend money built into their purse.

Those Mayweather opponents got a negotiated percentage of the PPV income on top of the guaranteed purses listed there.

Canelo earned around $12million, in total, for fighting Floyd.

Well those guys are going to wait until they can demand the same thing. Plant is two years younger, has less wear on his body and is a white American. He has a lot of upside. Smith and Saunders want what Kovalev got they don't give a ****.

Make it happen. I dont care what fighters get paid or ask for. Pay those men to get in the ring with you. If you think it's too much, go to the next person. I dont blame any fighter for asking for their highest payday against the top earners.

Only two people are fighting so get it while it's there. If Nelo doesn't get anyone in the ring then he needs to up his offers. What did Andrade, Charlo,GGG, Benevidez, Zurdo ask for? There are plenty of fights to be made if he wants them.
