Clearly plant is very aware of canelos tendency to be an opportunist. With that being said, if you get offered that fight, you man up and take it. It's not like you're Kovalev and are 36 yrs old coming off multiple knockout losses and fighting on 10 weeks rest after a tough and grueling fight.

Exactly, Canelo went from being the young guy to being the old guy. Canelo is 2 years older and has way more wear and tear on his body. They are going to age him out till he is 31/32 and if Plant has multiple titles they will be demanding percentages not flat fees. If Canelo tries to say "well I tried to fight him years ago" the public wont give a **** and will turn on him just like they did with Golovkin.
