Plants a bum. I watched the ******** of PBC card and fight just to see if he had the balls to call out Canelo.

I’m glad he called out Benavidez but if Plant beats Canelo, he’s automatic a side. Right now he’s b side meaning less money.

3 months is more than enough time especially after that sparring session.

    Plants a B I T C H

His fans as well as any unbiased observer sided with Canelo. No need for a triple G fight outside of lucrative appeal. If you are already one of the richest athletes on the planet, money ain’t everything.

Triple G talked a lot of trash and Canelo told him to screw him which he did.

Triple G is aging in dog years now and has 0 to no chance to beat Canelo now.

When you the A Side you can do what you want, that’s a boss. He told his own network that pays him sit down and let me make my choices.

While I’m still upset with Canelo for the PEDs, for a light skinned kid in Guadalajara Mexico, he’s doing some amazing things in the ring. That light skin and gay Canelo nickname means he had to fight wars long before he stepped in a ring.

how is this a duck? Nothing has been offered, if there is an offer then yea its a duck. Kovalev said the same thing and still ended up fighting Canelo. Ill wait to see if there is an actual offer made before passing judgement

I agree with Plant. Most have already brought up the Canelo/Kovalev situation and I get it. My thing is, there's A LOT more press and such that Caleb would have to engage in for a Canelo fight, so he really won't even have as much time to train as most would think.

I wouldn't mind seeing the fight, but, I also agree that Plant would need at least 4 weeks to come down after this fight. People can say what they want, but I think we'dd all like to see both guys in tip top shape.

his options weren't just limited to ggg. Andrade was an option that dazn ended up approving as well. As far as ggg, if Canelo wanted to keep that stance and not get a convincing win over him, then fine. He was upset at ggg saying he felt Canelo took PEDs... Because he tested positive for ummm PEDs. Go figure. But remember this position when canelo eventually faces ggg in September. Now that ggg is even older and looked super vulnerable his last fight, Canelo has already started to sway on that stance. So siding with him is likely to be a bad look in hindsight because he'll flip flop, take the fight with ggg and will make his initial stance look hypocritical. Lastly, his Irish look and being Mexican has served wayyyyy more to his benefit than it being a hinderance. Of he wasn't those 2 tjjngs, he'd be much less popular and would likely have a couple more decision losses on his record.

I agree. Time is definitely on his side. He is no Kovalev; Who was an older, shop worn and washed up version of his former self at 36 years old. He is only 27 years old. So his body can rest and heal a whole lot faster than a much older fighter could during that break.

A fighter should be bigger than a fight date. Caleb is doing the right thing making sure his best foot is forward for the fight. Canelo can find someone else to fight then; he really doesn't have the pull that he thinks he does.

According to CompuBox Feigenbutz connected with just 47 of 265 (18%).This was a glorified sparring session against an undersized opponent.Whoever is advising Plant to pass on the biggest payday in his career needs to be fired.
