I agree he's not the best or anywhere near the best skill wise but one can make the argument he doesn't need to be. The perfect example is Rocky Marciano who is a top ten guy and got there through punching power and winning wars of attrition. He often was losing fights up until he stopped his opponents.

Your right. Sometimes raw power with well timed shots camouflage other deficiencies. I just do not put Wilder up there with the all time greats.

It’s all good and well promoting yourself and the fight but when he retires, his legacy will be at the mercy of boxing fans who can tear into his career day after day, year after year and he won’t be able to produce highlight reel KO’s to dissuade the haters...eventually, he will become another former champ because if he isn’t a HW superstar after 43 fights, he never will be.
