Whoever doesnt think this is PPV worth should be shot.

Castillo is gonna expose Hatton, Collazo already did but wont leave it to the judges, Castillo by late TKO/KO

thats a legitimate stradegy. He was willing to take a whopping 10-6 round, almost assuring himself a loss, because he believed he could stop castillo in the next three rounds.

Tell me u wouldnt be calling corrales a complete idiot if the fight went the distance? wouldnt this arguement be going the other way???

they are both inside fighters, so we arent going to see much boxing. not a bad thing though....

Very true, others usually have to bring the best out in Castillo so Hatton would be a perfect match-up...Thats dumb though the wait will be long...Arum is talking about bringing Castillo to Mexico to avoid his suspension.

I say screw that BULL**** and take his butt over to Manchester and lets get it on in November.

No need for tune-ups, tune-ups for brawlers only erode their skills and physical activity in the ring....

thats actually a very good point. Both have very inside styles that can drastically shorten a fighters career. I dont think hatton OR castillo should waste any time with tune up fights.

A tune-up fight for castillo and hatton could also ruin the fight! IF castillo loses to a nobody over in mexico, the fight may not happen. And if hatton loses to urkal, then the fight definetly wont happen!!!

This fight should definetly happen in late novemer/early december.

Exactly and Arum spewing that "we will go to Mexico since he cant fight in the US" excuse wont fly if Hattons people says well bring him over to Manchester its out of the U.S.....That fight would be huge plus if I was Castillo I wouldnt worry about going to Manchester....I think he would get a fair shake even against Manchesters favorite son....

November would be great with the winner facing Cotto which was talked about before this came up anyhow...So why not you know? That would be huge Cotto vs the winner in June in NYC.

Well I wonder does anyone disagree that Castillo has a better defense? I'm not saying Hatton isn't strong talented and all the rest I really think he is all that. However I think Castillo is all that as well. What does Hatton do or have thats is so much better than Castillo?

They both have fairly equal body attacks both are very strong in later rounds both are good inside fighters.

                Hatton advantages:
Hatton might have natural weight advantage and possibly a higher work rate.

                Castillo advantages:
Castillo has better defence fights better at a distance and has a better beard than Hatton.

At 140lbs I would give Castillo the edge at 147lbs I'm not so sure.

Any way many here know that I am 2x more excited about the prospect of Castillo-Hatton-Cotto-Margarito all fighting each other than I am of PBF fighting them, because I think styles make fights and those would be super exciting action filled fights.

Defensively I give it to Castillo. However, I think Hatton comes with the stronger attack...Hatton is 12 rounds of full explosive power and energy. Castillo seems to gas out, back peddle and get bored....Look at his last fight w/ Diaz I think man that was a barn burner wasnt it? Hence why I said Castillos opponents brings out the best in him...When in the ring with Ricky Hatton this cant be anything short of great.

Oh, I agree that Hatton would be stronger but I'm not sure about how much stronger he would be than Castillo at 140lbs. I totally 100% agree with you in Castillo's fight vs Ruelas (I think thats the fight you were referring too) in that it was boring. But like you said I against top fighters Castillo brings his A game.

I just think Hatton is to hittable and I'm not sure about Hatton taking sustained attack from a real puncher. But like you said this has FOTY possibilities written all over it, I can't wait to see Hatton-Castillo-Cotto-Maragarito start fighting each other.
