Taylor Chavez - dude literally got brain damage from the fight

Broner Maidana- AB has been fighting scared against big punches ever since that fight it mentally hurt him and his pride

Cotto Margarito- he slow down a good pace after that fight before he was a more aggressive fighter

Clottey Pacquiao- his big chance and he blew it he didn't take much punishment but mentally he was never there after the loss

for some reason this fight just crossed my mind and I thought of this thread, want to add it:

        Antoine Douglas v Avandil Khurtsizde

Douglas was just a prospect, so "never the same" probably doesn't apply in the same way as it would to some of these other good fighters who we knew what their best at it was obvious..

but anyway, he went from prospect to shot in one night after that one. Meanwhile Khurtsizde probably rose up the ranks of the Russian mob off the win and is now doing 35 yrs in prison, so I guess both were never the same

Pacquiao after Margarito (although Pacquiao won a shutout victory and should be a stoppage win, he never really recovered mentally from this fight; he looked dramatically different in his subsequent fights; still remembers and acknowledges up to now that Margarito was the one who hits him the hardest; Margarito weighed 165 lbs fight night vs Pacquiao who weighed 148 lbs )

                Darchinyan after Donaire 1
                Donaire after Rigondeaux

Exactly what I was going to post.

It was almost like you could see the risk v reward cogs turning in his brain while he was in the ring.

And Jones Jr I'd say wasn't the same after coming down in weight from the Ruiz fight.

                      Vargas after Trinidad
That's a big one. He really changed after that fight.
