That was the ******est move Ruiz could have mad. Ruiz has no one to blame but himself for that loss.

Since when the hell do managers make the final call on hiring or firing a trainer?

If Ruiz didn't even try and train properly then why would you want to change the coach.

What's that going to change if his attitude remains lazy?
All I can think is that Haymon is saying we'll give you another big fight, but I'm not taking the chance on you turning up massive and embarrassing us.

So it will be a trainer from the inside who can let PBC know what he's doing (or not doing).

So I'm assuming it's a cash out fight v Wilder they want him for.

Just more proof Haymon controls his fighters like puppets . On the decision ? Ruiz will never see any title that’s for sure without Robles .

          Don't need no stinkin trainer

Why waste money on a trainer. All Andy really needs to get ready for a fight is a delivery driver to bring him massive amounts of stuff from McDonalds and Taco Bell!!! He'll go straight to the top if they have a LARD division.

Seems like Boxing Clever never saw the fight.
Ruiz wasn't slow. Nor was he unable to put his punches together. AJ was permanently moving and Ruiz wasn't prepared for that tactics and couldn't cut the ring off. That was the problem.
The cards were stacked against him even before all that. When they announced it was going to be a 22’ x 22’ ring. I knew what Hearn was doing and wanted to give AJ plenty of room to run corner to corner.

            The standard size is 16’ - 20’

Great move by Mr Haymon. Robles wasn't cutting it.

                    You're Fired

It's the trainers/coach job to be tough and take control discipline scream yell push shove whoever you are preparing. He should've protected his career by making a scene and bringing it to everyone's attention that Andy wasn't listening. He did good though got Andy to win a big championship I hope he learns and finds another fighter.
