Interesting Haymon making the call. Readying him for the cash out?

Apparently manny tried to install a treadmill in the gym and ruiz had a meltdown and left. Not sure how true that is but sounds plausible.

You know it’s sad but true
I just hope wtv he does , it won’t be the case
I like Ruiz and really believe the heavyweight division needs more fighters like him
He’s a shaker and a mover , no pun intended

            That seems strange to me.

Since when the hell do managers make the final call on hiring or firing a trainer?

If Ruiz didn't even try and train properly then why would you want to change the coach.

What's that going to change if his attitude remains lazy?

Seems like Boxing Clever never saw the fight.
Ruiz wasn't slow. Nor was he unable to put his punches together. AJ was permanently moving and Ruiz wasn't prepared for that tactics and couldn't cut the ring off. That was the problem.

True. And if AJ fought the same way in the first fight he would’ve won too.
They put too much on Ruiz being fat that’s why AJ won But he was already fat the first time around lol.
Aj’s approach, and being disciplined the entire fight got him the win... not because the other guy was fat.
Andy trained. Not his hardest but he prepared for the second fight too. I was supporting him.. but he just couldn’t handle that kind of style even if he’s 260lbs. Everyone’s physique has its limitations.
Maybe it’ll add 5-10% winning chance though

Wow! Harmon is also picking their trainers?! That's some total control BS.

                  The scapegoating continues.

Ruiz may have came in heavier but this is a man who has been competing heavy his entire life. Even if he came in at the weight he did for June he was always going to have the trouble closing the gap if AJ boxed and moved. This is what lots of us was saying for months about this rematch and it's exactly how it played out. If AJ stood there and traded it may have been the same outcome but AJ's not silly enough to make the same mistake twice.

Keep talking about the partying though. Ruiz and his team knew what AJ would do and couldn't prepare fully for it, just hoping AJ would abandon his game plan and stand there to trade.

Surprised to hear the call coming from Haymon though, or maybe not.

Andy Ruiz is finished anyways. Joshua layed out the blue print on how to beat this cow. Manny Robles will always be remembered for helping Ruiz upset Joshua. Ruiz is the titanic and Robles just sold his ticket to the sinking ship.
