We have too much of that already in boxing. Everyone @ 147 waiting for a call from Pacquiao. Everyone @ 160 waiting for a call from Canelo. Everyone @ 168 waiting for a call from Canelo. Usyk should seek a big, high-profile, fight! Whyte, Parker, or Ortiz fit the bill!

Smart move would be to wait for Joshua so he at least gets a decent payday while losing.

I actually agree! (what a coincidence). Usyk doesn't look that great at the HW division..he was neither that quick or had the power in his HW match. It's better for him to lose his hype in an AJ fight rather than to a lower-ranked opponent.

If he needs an in-between fight, he should go with an opponent like Povetkin, Breazeale, Kownacki, Parker, Charles Martin, etc. They aren't very heavy hitters and he could outbox them. Parker would be tricky because he too can box well.
