It's not that bad. Haters just love to use that as an excuse cause that's Kovalev's excuse...
Didn't Ruiz beat the shet out of AJ in the first fight after less than 10 weeks from his previous fight???
Go back and look at BoxRec from previous fighters in the past and you'll see it was normal to fight every 6 to 12 weeks.... It was the norm back in the day...
Fighters of today just don't wanna fight that often for whatever reason but since Kovalev did he wants to use that as an excuse for him losing... You might buy that bullshet but i don't!

But at the end of the day he still accomplished his goal which was to earn a fourth title. No difference from when Roy Jones went up to heavyweight to beat Ruiz for the heavyweight title. Canelo is still young and has allot more to accomplish still. But so far he's accomplished WAY MORE than other current fighters his age have... That's a fact!
And at the beginning you gave to responses but to what????
Were you impressed with Spence beating Mikey??? Cause i was disappointed he didn't beat Mikey by K.O the way Canelo beat Kovalev....
Sorry , my responses were to your question about Spence vs Garcia
No I wasn’t impressed but actually disappointed how that whole fight turned out
My problem with Canelo or even RJJ going up and doing what they did is that they are taking away from maybe someone else’s dream
Not sure if you get what I mean
Being a seasonal worker , taking a job for a three month period only to let it go afterwards , imo is kind of taking money or food out of someone’s mouth
Lol i hope you get my point

Ruiz went 5 rounds, is ten years younger, didn’t get touched and didn’t have a weight clause. Apples and oranges.

And boxers in the old days sometimes fought once a week!
Andy Ruiz isn't a 36 year old man that had been knocked out twice within the space of 14 months...

I’ve been saying pretty much the same thing since the fight happened. It’s why the fight happened when it did with the weight clause that it had.

Canelo superfans don’t want to see what is right there in plain sight.

Believe what you like, be happy.

Like I said, Archie Moore was 43 and fought one month after losing a fight.

A 36 year old should be able to handle 10 weeks.

Real unbiased boxing fans give credit where credit is due.
That's why the Kovalev win cemented Canelo as fighter of the year. Cause the people who keep it real know it was an impressive win by Canelo and that's why they voted Canelo as the fighter of the year...
The story of the fight was a 36 year old Kovalev got tired and knocked out late. Canelo did nothing special in the fight and it was definitely a dull spectacle. It was mega close on the cards and arguably Canelo was behind on the cards at the point of the KO. Lets not get this twisted please!
