    Joe Blow is a slapper
But seriously, this is not the fight Roy wants to take.
An old, weight drained Roy, against one of the best fighters on the planet. Roy was a great fighter, not is a great fighter.

I'd put money on Calzaghe, but at the same time... if Roy were to win I wouldn't say I'd be shocked. Zag is good but beating Lacy the way he did sorta' created a myth about him. He beat a slow, plodding fighter who couldn't put punches together or formulate a plan... it's easy to look really, really good against somebody like that. As I said, I still think Zag will win but it's not crazy to think Roy can win.

Sorry, it wasn't expressly directed at you, brother, I was just talking aloud generally...

And neither guy is a slouch.
don't even pretend Rubin Williams and Syd Vanderpool compare to Vernon Forrest and Cory Spinks, who have both been ranked in the top 10 pound for pound. don't even try it, loser.

But nearly every Brit I know of, rooted for him.

He lives about 20 miles away from me, when I was brought up my dad always told me Calzaghe was the best.

But I didn't predict the one sided decision that he won.

Yeah what most people didn't expect was that Lacy wasn't putting up a fight.

Right, and there are people who thought Forrest beat Mayorga in the second fight.....as well as people that believe Spinks put on a clinic against him.

Close fights and Mayorga is a competitor...but you're comparing him to arguably one of the biggest star prospects in the sport.

Even if I am a fan of Jones. He hand picks most of his opponents. But, he became p4p when he fought Toney and Hopkins.

i say calzaghe will KO RJJ fairly easily. calzaghe impressed a lot of people in his fight against lacy. RJJ has lost most of his speed, with his UD over ajamu didnt realy get everyone excited that he will make a comeback and beat the best.

Jones still has the speed he just doesn't have the mental focus to deal with top opponents any more.
