I’m pretty sure it’s on though. BJS is already training in Dubai, like he knows something. He’s also been talking about bringing Jimmy Tibbs into the team, he used to work with him and wants him there now to “Give something back” he said, which means he’s probably expecting a big payday..
Iam glad Billy is finally getting his dream fight though.Has wanted this fight for a long time.Unlike some fighters that are padded up with artificial records I think Billy is a genuine boxing man with ability and I think he will put in a good performance. Hence some fighters rise to the occasion and I think Billy is one of them.

Saunders has been unlucky. He signed to fight GGG at EXPO ‘17, GGG’s team didn’t sign their half because they waited for the Canelo fight. BJS even showed his messages to Tom Loeffler asking him to send the contract back.

Also it’s good he moved to Hearn. Warren never much ability to land huge fights for his fighters anymore. Fury gets his fights because he’s Fury, or maybe like Liam Smith v Canelo but that wasn’t Warren’s work, he was handpicked by Canelo.

Saunders get’s a lot of flack for his resume, but truthfully although he doesn’t have elite names, he’s beaten some very solid world level fighters like Lemiuex, Andy Lee, Eubank, Ryder, Monroe etc.. I’m a GGG fan and pre the jacobs fight, his resume was really no better than BJS resume right now, about similar.

I believe a motivated saunders will be a nightmare for anyone.

There’s only about a year difference in age between him and Canelo which is a good thing. They should both be in their prime

I was just thinking the same thing
But I don’t think the odds will be that good , I doubt it

I thought Lemieux would catch him
But never did I think he’s anywh close to great

          I picked Lemieux also😂😂

He won me some money back vs Spike though.

I remember Canelo by KO was 8/15 vs Khan so based on that hopefully we get a price considerably above even money.

Wouldn’t be so sure about that
My thinking of Lemieux vs Blow Job Saunders was kind of like my thinking of Smith vs Hart but I did lose money on the ko

I thought Lemieux was a lot better than he was tbh. I remember my friend telling me Saunders would box rings around him. I should’ve listened...😂

I'll be rooting for BJS, but I think Canelo wins quite comfortably.

These are the two best takes on this fight, I think.

It looks like Canelo is doing what he can in terms of finding meaningful opponents that will garner respect (because even if Canelo lost, he'd be losing to a strong fighter, not some bum) and secure a legacy (by clearing out the field).

And a fight like this will stretch Saunders. Seeing how he responds to it will be a real litmus test for him.

Good all around for boxing, from the sound of it.
