that starting point sounds about right

    Team Parker will want 60/40

they should know that Team Usyk would not consider fighting for less than that

60/40, could get it made... although, Parker is not really a draw

truth be known... 55/45 is probably the fairest

I will go against the grain... Parker beats Usyk, and sends him back to cruiser

the version of Usyk that fought Bellew, would get blown out

That turned out to be nothing more than a negotiating ploy, and I'm assuming Higgins is playing the same game again now. Either that, or he and Joe don't really want the fight.

Usyk is the WBO mandatory challenger, so if AJ vacates, Usyk going to fight for the title, either against Parker or somebody else, if Parker prices himself out

yea, its a starting point... they are not even sitting at the table

if Usyk does not get 40-45%... he should tell them to F%^&*

Parker is definitely more well-known than Usyk, but hardly a big draw

lol Usyk is the undefeated lineal cruiserweight champ. hes probably the betting favorite.

a 70-30 offer from Parker is a duck. Parker dont have any fans, even less than Usyk

First off, if Joshua is fighting Pulev there is NO WAY he should have to vacate another belt. There are rules concerning who rotates into top position as far as these belts go, and Joshua cannot fight two mandatories at once. What kind of moronic decision would that be?? Am I the only boxing fan out here that truly, 100% feels that this sport would be better without any belts at all?

Secondly... Usyk is a larger name in more parts of the world and has received much more airtime on TV. If Parker had not fought Joshua, I do not think he would have any stroke at all. I do feel Parker should hold out for as much as he can, though, if this fight happens because Usyk will make him look like a statue in the ring as he dictates the speed, distance, and activity level of 10 of those 12 rounds in a wide UD.

this is actually a good post

this comment... is more accurate than Team Parker insisting that they are the A-side

only a genuine superstar should pull that A-side crap

I heard the same thing the other day about Spence being the A-side over Crawford

unless you are a BIG draw... you don't get to use the alphabet at the negotiating table

              yea

or even 55/45 depending on how slick Fast Eddie is

Dang, I do not often find myself that far off from your predictions. I so think Usyk has every tool except power over Parker and wins fairly easy. I do not love Usyk over most of the HW division, and certainly not the top 3, but Parker??

Dang, A-F-T..... Your making a Usyk fan nervous.

Parker isn't in the same league

Oleksandr Usyk Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion much like Evander Holyfield also earned that honour. Did Parker unify anything? Apart from winning the WBO over a very questionable Judges scorecard in New Zealand.
So when Higgins talks out of his rear end and says silly comments like earned, he really has no idea that not only is he talking against Oleksandr Usyk but also the Real Deal Holyfield.

Parker may be slightly better known than Usyk , but Usyk is more admired and respected, and he is in the WBO mandatory position, which means he will fight for the title against somebody else if Parker doesn't play ball.

I can't see Parker getting any more than 50/50, which may be what Higgins is angling for. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the split has already been agreed - they are both promoted by Hearn - and this A side stuff is just for publicity, or maybe to introduce a bit of needle into what would be a very gentlemanly build-up.

I don't think there will be much in it

Parker is a clear level above Bellew at heavyweight, and Usyk did not look great with Bellew

Parker handles Usyk's power no problem, just like he handled AJ/Ruiz power

Parker can box, and his power will keep Usyk honest for 12 rounds

Usyk has not faced a good heavyweight at this point

Parker will be hungry, and very well-prepared

not 100% sold on Usyk at heavyweight, I think Parker could be a little step too far

I would not bet money on that fight, on either guy

                      good luck bro

                      may the best man win
