i would say Usyk is a bigger draw and will sell more tickets in the Uk then Parker

Usyk vs Andy Ruiz Jr for a vacant WBO belt?
If AJ vacates the WBO belt and Parker prices himself out of fighting for it against Usyk, the WBO would move down the rankings and offer the job to the next highest ranked available opponent.
WBO No 3 contender is Adam Kownacki, but he's going to be fighting on a PBC card in Brooklyn in March. Next man down the list at No 4 is Andy Ruiz Jr.Comment

Why is it that any fighter that's held a belt all of a sudden think he's the A side of a potential fight against an opponent?
The only current fighters that are without question the A side vs any opponents is Manny Pacquiao, Canelo, and AJ if he doesn't lose again.
Anybody else is up for debate.Comment

Parker is just mediocre. I haven't even watched his losses. His "big wins" against ruiz & hughie were enough for me...
If Usyk were to struggle with him at all it would be wise to move back to cruiser. He's really just a big guy with nothing going on so if Usyk has difficulties, it means he can't go bigger.Last edited by ////; 01-13-2020, 06:45 PM.Comment

This. Everytime a boxer, promoter, or some fanboard poster sarts saying "A-side", I roll my eyes in disgust.
I like Parker but, other than a disputed win over Ruiz, what has he done to dictate terms? He fights in a caution-first style that creates dull fights. Outside of New Zealand, I'm not sure he has much of a fanbase or Q-rating.
Last I heard, he was recovering from a spider bite that kept him from Del Boy. Take the Usyk fight or don't...just don't call yourself the damn A-side.Comment
