How DidaMidget In a HW Class under 6 feet Get So Hyped ?

Rocky was easily cut ,couldn’t throw a jab and despite being undefeated would never last long in a modern athletic division where guys are at least 6”5 and 240 , I think if he was black fans would be who’s Dat bc his one main attraction was Italian white American .

I think it was the part where he became undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, beat several hall of famers, and retired as reigning, undefeated champ.

Over 50% we’re coming off losses.

He was just a great white hope, who does what many fighters doing now fighting old champs. He never fought a top ten fighter who was in his prime

There weren't multiple sanctiing bodies with multiple Champions in each division in those days. Fighters had to fight each other to get to the top. Pretty hard to hide in those days. Having losses on a record isn't a big deal.

He was a beast in his day....his day was the 40s and 50s. HWs are now usually upwards of 6'3 and 230+ and theres all kinds of PEDs around. It is what it is. You cant judge a 40s/50s boxer by modern standards.

So exactly who are you claiming he could have fought and didn’t?

Very few fighters from that era would last long against modern fuighters. Black or White. Fighters like Lennox Lewis, Riddock Bowe Cooney, Foreman, Tyson Fury, Wilder are huge compared to Marciano, Walcott, Lewis and Ezzard Charles. If Rocky was Black he would have had a huge number of fans in the Black community. They would be and still be bragging how a 5' 10" fighter was beating the tar out of everyone and retired undefeated.
