I definitely think it would be a great fight. Too bad it never happened. If it happens now and Koz loses I won't invest too much in it.

Of course Kosta would lose now. Prime Kosta would beat Floyd by knockout. It wouldn't look effective (most of his fights don't) but he would time FLoyd perfect and knock him out. I am 100% on that.

the only skilled pressure fighter floyd fought was Castillo, that was the closest anyone got to beating Floyd, Hatton is a better pressure fighter than Castillo, so he has the biggest chance in todays boxers of beating Floyd...

Yea I agree with that, only a knockout does it for Tsyu, noone can beat Floyd with points...

I think Hatton could come through but I dont doubt Mayweather could keep the distance which makes this fight so intriguing.
you guys must of not followed floyd's career, he is at his best when he's in the ring with pressure fighters. to think that hatton would just back him into the ropes is ridiculous, and i'm not trying to say that hatton has no chance of winning i'm saying theres little chance if any that he would just back floyd into the ropes. it's a style mismatch in floyd's favor.

I am sure it is played out now but I still say it would turn out like Robinson vs Lamotta and I have every reason not to believe it wouldnt be similar.

On a side note, the fighter to truly rock Mayweather was Corley and had him hurt...But being the professional he was, Mayweather got his composure back and went to work.
Robinson - Lamotta went 5-1 in favor of Robinson. I could see Hatton getting lucky and winning one of the fights, should they have multiple, but I can't see him besting Mayweather in a three match series, or a five match series, what have you.

Hatton is good on the inside, but he leaves himself too open coming in. Mayweather is a lot faster than anyone he has fought, and it'd show. He'd hit him 2-3 times every time he came in, and once he got in, he'd tie him up. Mayweather is not a ****** fighter, he wouldn't let Hatton have his way with him.

This is true. Check out the Jesus Chavez fight. He tried to pressure Floyd and was TKO'd in the 9th. You have to have multiple skills to beat Floyd. Castillo does more than just pressure he has pretty quick hands and good 1 punch power. Hatton doesn't have as quick of hands and doesn't have 1 punch KO power. Hatton might be a better fighter than Castillo but his style doesn't match up as well against Floyd.

If Mayweather fights Hatton negative he won't beat Hatton. Simple as that. He has to dictate from teh center of the ring or he loses.

Completely agree with that, that's how I was foreseeing the match, Hatton has to fight very, very agressively to win this fight...
