Marciano absolutely demolished his era. There are no peers in Marciano's era to brag about like Lennox's because Marciano demolished every hope before they made it to the title picture, unlike Lennox who waited until Tyson and Holyfield worked things out amongst themselves, Marciano destroyed everyone's chances of becoming champion.

Marciano is so dominant of his era he's one of the few guys who can be the within a year of another man in age and have half the career and experience as that man in the ring and still be seen as having as unfair advantage over that man.

Lennox Lewis done all that was asked of him as a champion, he is still the best British fighter 'Joe Calzaghe comes in at number 2'.

Lewis fought pretty much 99.9% of all the biggest punchers of the 90's, and was the last man standing of that era.

Talk about determination, he went to the Olympics TWICE 'Won a Bronze Medal and then in 1988 captured the Olympic title smashing Rid**** Bowe'.

Joe Louis is number one. Everything else is up for debate. If you think Lewis is number three, I won’t complain. I just think we underrate the guys from long ago.

I have a hard time rating him over Gene Tunney even, personally.
