It's a Haymon card you tard one of the cards he's required to give showtime. He gave them **** for their money as usual.

    • They kept saying this was the first time a female fight headlined a premium cable card, but that's not true.

Braekhus vs Magdziak-Lopes headlined the final HBO boxing card, and Shields herself was on the undercard.

Consistently announcers downplay Braekhus in favor of Katie Taylor and Shields.

TBF Hammer was legit, and so was Gabriels even though she was outsized, but Habazin had absolutely no business being there, chick has never even beaten anyone even close to the top 10 at 154, and at best barely cracked the top ten at 147 years ago. Wtf the WBO and WBC were playing at putting her in the ring with an undisputed MW champ with 2 JMW titles on the line... well, we know what it is.

          • Shields has no power, now she only has 2 stops in 10 fights. I saw on Youtube where Andre Ward was trying to mentor her in the gym and he told her whenever you have someone vulnerable or hurt, you keep going back there over and over again. Why didn’t she pound away at the body after round 6. What happened, she could have stopped her. She went mostly to the head. Her opponent had no power and was smothering her own shots with the distance. Meanwhile Laila Ali was 24-0 with 21 knockouts. Shields talks like a killer but doesn’t have killer shots. She doesn’t stop anybody. As a matter of fact, Shields last stop was back in August 2017. She isn’t a killer and she really benefits from having NO real competition in woman’s boxing.

Its like watching a movie where you're 99.9% certain what the ending is going to be, you only watch for that 0.1% chance that they're going to throw a plot twist in there for you.

Hammer is indeed a legit fighter and a great win, but people who talk about her as an undefeated fighter are being dishonest.

Anne Sophie Mathis knocked her the F out in 2014. The ref incorrectly disqualified Mathis, claiming a series of clean shots were rabbit punches. Then it was reversed to a no decision after the fact and Mathis never got her rematch. She had one more fight in the same division, a split draw with former champ Oxandia Castillo, then got stopped by Braekhus in a rematch for her final fight.

                  100% WRONG.

The Showtime deal is one card per month. Haymon gets his one card on Jan. 25.

This was a Salita Promotions card with DiBella Ent.

She's got no shot against Shields no matter what but she has more talent than her rudimentary boxing style shows. She does have a good chin and good range.
It was quite obvious Shields was simply too big and too strong. You could look at their arms alone and tell they're weight classes apart. Shields may have came down in weight but she is still naturally 2 weight classes bigger than Hab she looked to have rehydrated to the same weight she does when she fights at 160 or 168 and already has better skills as it is.
