I think it would be an interesting fight to be sure. Ortiz is no punk.

Ortiz is bigger, faster and better boxer and also a counter puncher.

Ortiz is better in every single way.

Unless his advanced age suddenly catches up to him, he'd completely outclass and eventually stop Ruiz.

Depends, going with the eye test then Ruiz. I have seen enough of Ruiz against different styles/fighters to see how he can handle Ortiz. Ortiz doesn’t move his head enough, gets tired down the championship rounds and doesn’t have one power KO, Ruiz has faster hands in exchanges, slow feet which wouldn’t mean much in an Ortiz fight, he would caught up to Ortiz and I can see him stopping Ortiz. Would love for this fight to happen ASAP.

I'd go with ortiz people forget he was out boxing wilder before the ko and ruiz hasn't got that power to knock ortiz out. His flurries might bother ortiz early on as the speed is good but Andy feet are slow and ruiz will set traps for the counterpunch plus being a southpaw will make ruiz over commit certain punches leaving him even more open for the counter.

It takes a high work rate without one shot power to get to Ortiz. Ruiz would tire out and pressure Ortiz,he also does two important things better.

One is inside fighting counter punching so it negates that Ortiz bullying who only counters from distance ,the other he could eat Ortiz punches and drown him late. A rough fight favors the younger Ruiz , we know Ortiz legs stop moving after a few rounds, this is perfect for a Ruiz type fighter .

If this fight took place in 2020, obviously Ruiz should be the favorite , even if it was a younger Ortiz I’d say Ruiz ,Ortiz best win was four years ago, Ruiz just defeated AJ and in 2016 arguably got Parker to.

Ruiz knocks out Ortiz faster than Wilder did!

Fight is not going to happen anytime soon brothas. Mark my word. These are PBC fighters. They'll be fed with a long line of bums first before Haymon decides to make it. Sadly, Ortiz is not getting any younger.

Yeah I would have to favour Ruiz
My thinking here is who ever gets tired first is pretty much done
But I would still favour Ruiz to come out on top
