Ruiz doesn’t handle jabs well, Ortiz has a very good jab, he routinely out jabbed Wilder who has a good long jab.

Ruiz also has slow feet while Ortiz has some of the better footwork in the division.

Ortiz has more power 8 of his last 10 wins are by KO

Ortiz is a much better counter puncher, Ortiz uses feints well, he has good defense he mixes his defense up between using his feet, countering and covering up

Ortiz is just bigger and better in almost every category,

One of Ortiz “flaws” is the fact while he has good offense it’s not spectacular, that and his cuban defensive mindset if you force him to continuously lead he gets stagnant offensively, it’s a big part of why he didn’t Ko some fighters he should’ve

But Ruiz isn’t a fighter that disengages enough for that to matter

    Ortiz by late round stoppage
Parker has one of the best jabs in the division, what fight shows Ruiz struggling with jabs outside a 6'6 monster with 82 inches of reach ? Ortiz got his due when the bell saved Wilder ,besides Wilder what has Ortiz accomplished in his last say, 10 fights ?Did you really watch his fight leading up to the last Wilder one ?

I'd favor Ortiz if he can keep moving at a fast pace but his last 3 fights doesn't show that, this is 2020,you do understand that right ? Ruiz off night would still pose many problems for Ortiz ,but we don't assume an off night unless you have an agenda.

This is what i'm talking about !

You talk a lot of lies Larry ,another poster I caught on to. If Ortiz defeated Ruiz the entire forum would know that would be his best win,you say Ortiz is faster so you can’t even state one truth on here even picking Ortiz , get with it !

          Almost every fighter outbox wilder.
          Thats nothing new.
          Ruiz by late stoppage.
Anything after 6 rounds, Ortiz is gone.

I'd have to say ortiz( if hes in the shape of wilder 2) . Even if Andy's in shape. Unless the knockout in wilder 2 took ortiz's prime with it . I'd say ortiz UD ruiz . Maybe SD if andy actually shows up to fight. Hes so inconsistent . This is a match I wanna see . Al should make it happen I think lots of people would enjoy this scrap . I wouldnt be at all surprised if ruiz won this , I just dont have confidence in him showing up tbh

First off...Parker having one of the best Jabs?? Ohh nah playboy, Parker has one of the fastest jabs yes but when it comes down to it he doesn’t use it well...he Constantly misjudges space and his timing on it isn’t great, It’s Why Whyte started out jabbing Parker even tho his is real slow.

And even look at that fight Ruiz didn’t so much counter Parker’s jab as he landed shots when he got on the inside or Parker got out of position..Ruiz eats a lot of jabs

Ortiz in the Hammer fight looked a lot like Povetkin in his fight with Hammer, I’m not trippin over that, nor am I gonna make a judgement about a fight where he dominated Wilder way more then the first and was caught by the biggest puncher in boxing...

Ortiz has the most technical skills in the division and it still shows.

A smaller, cement footed less powerful fighter with more weaknesses is not beating a bigger stronger fighter with way better and faster footwork that also has more skills...just don’t see that happening

Ortiz would outbox the **** out of him and counter him every way till Sunday. Classic bull vs matador scenario.
